Episode 17: The Devil in the Snake Pit!

After the battle with Red Eye, Valt insists Shu's bey be returned. They are allowed to enter the Snake Pit where they are shocked to see the grueling training methods. Valt sees a boy (this turns out to be Boa) on the verge of collapse, but he continues to persevere...not wanting any help! Turns out that in the Snake Pit weakness is a sin.

Valt and the others are taken to meet the head of the Snake Pit, Sir Ashram. He tells them that the Snake Pit is a sacred place that creates the strongest bladers. If they want to see Red Eye, then they must show their strength. Each one must battle the black versions of their own beyblades.

Rantaro is first to battle Black Ragnaruk. Well.... he loses....booo. A pit opens under his feet, but thankfully, Cooza grabs him before he falls. They are directed to the next room where Daina is up.
