Episode 36: Duel! Longinus VS Spriggan!

Lui and Red Eye face each other in an area not far from the Snake Pit. Lui taunts Red Eye with the fiercest battle yet! He manages to aim Longinus so that it cracks the mask worn by Red Eye, and lol and behold it's none other than Shu!! (I can't believe that only Lui knew it was Shu all along.)

After his win, Lui laughs at Shu and calls him weak. (Ouch!) Even Boa expresses his disappointment!. Shu walks off pushing Valt away and telling him to get lost.

An angry Valt challenges Lui and loses as well. Talk about a double rejection!

Angered by his loss to Lui, Shu is ready to throw away Spriggan when Ashram tells him of another way that he can get stronger. Shu enters a liquid filled chamber at the snake pit and undergoes a scheme that changes his personality for the worse! In the chamber Shu is confronted by Lui/Longinus and Free/Fafnir, where he defeats them both. When he exits the chamber it's as if the personality of Spriggan and Shu have merged to form...a monster(just Shu's personality)!
