The God Bladers Cup has begun. The announcer names to bladers in Group A. The battles will consist of Valt vs Kurtz, Shu vs Boa, and Cooza vs Norman. Valt is anxious to battle Kurtz as he cannot forgive someone who takes the beys of defeated bladers.

In the halls of the arena, Kurtz and his crew have surrounded Shu. Anton sees this and tells Valt. Kurtz was not happy that Shu destroyed his underground playground. Valt, Rantaro, and Cooza come running up, and Carl (Cooza's bird) gives Kurtz a feathering (snickers). Shu just walks off as aloof as ever and ignoring poor Valt.

In the hours prior to their battles, each of the bladers are practicing. Clio arrives to practice with Cooza, while Valt practices with Hickson.

The matches begin with Kurtz and Valt. Sadly, Valt underestimated his opponent and Kurtz's bey, Kukulcan, burst Valkyrie. Next up, Shu and Boa. Each of them look intense. Who will win? Find out in the next episode...

NOTE: I'm not sure if they will show this in the English version, but Kurtz tries to stomp on Valkyrie, but Valt grabs his bey just in time.
