Episode 08: The Exciting Bey Carnival

Highlights:

It is time for the nation's biggest Beyblade event: The Bey Carnival. Valt gives the initial speech, and he does it flawlessly... No tripping and no stage fright. (He's grown up so much... sobs of proudness..)

The bey battles will take place using a new stadium called the Hyper Double Stadium. The first battle will be Drum Koryu vs. Ken Urame. The battles will be played to two points. Drum will go with Rock Dragon for this round. Rock Dragon has its trouble at first, but Drum manages to pull it off using 'Rock Crusher' and bursting Ken's bey.

After the battle, Drum runs into an interesting blader by the name of Joe Rurikawa. (He was the one watching Valt battle the others outside of Victories.) Apparently, they call him the Gambler. He tosses a coin that comes up heads and announces "he's all in" for defeating every member of Victories. Looks like he's going to start with poor little Takane Kusaba (Amane's little brother).

Joe's by is Judgement Joker, a balance-type bey. Such a quick battle! Just as he planned, Joe wins with a burst finish.

The battles continue with the winners going to the 2nd round. One of them is Lodin Haijima, a super athlete from Hakusan. Drum and Takane have a run-in with him by the pool.

Back to the battles, it is the second round. Ichika is battling Joe, who uses a move called 'Trick Roulette'! Even with its eratic behavior, Joker manages to burst Ichika's bey, Hercules. His gamble paid off so far with two members of Victories out!

The Bey Carnival continues. Drum and Amane have made it to the top eight! However, Joe is betting that he will take them both down. Will he win or will he lose!?!
