Coach Rantaro puts the Bombers through rigorous training starting with 10 laps around the beach. After which it is time to battle. Even after all the training and battling, none of them were able to take a point from Glide Ragnaruk, a stamina-type with a super heavyweight disc.
That evening, while Hyuga sleeps soundly, Hikaru studies their battles over and over again from his tablet. "There has to be a way to beat Ragnaruk," he says.
The next day a determined Hikaru challenges Rantaro first. He sets his bey, King Helios, to ten blades so he can survive an attack from Ragnaruk. He then uses King Strike and finally is able to burst Ragnaruk. Basically, Hikaru faked a stamina battle, then went for a counter attack. After the battle, Rantaro says he is taking them to some place special, which turns out to be the National Training Center. Hikaru and Hyuga have been allowed by the WBBA to practice there.
Once inside Hyuga sees Sisco and immediately wants to battle him. While the battle is taking place, Hikaru is studying Curse Satan's every move. Satan is able to burst Hyperion making Sisco the victor. Moments later, the boys see other rivals arriving that were accepted into the training center, and one of them is Honcho!
