Valt goes to check on Free, because he noticed something during the battle with Hyuga. Free tells him that Hyuga reminded him of someone he had lost to in New York. The newbie's name was Lean, and he was getting trained by Shu.
Meanwhile, after hearing that Hyperion had spoken to Hyuga, Hikaru is working hard to hear Helios. He feels he is falling behind Hyuga. Valt arrives to give encouragement and the two battle.
The next day Ranjiro tells the boys that it is time to return to Japan, but before they go, Valt emerges with Free and makes a suggestion for a tag team battle!
