Episode 15: The Jet Black Sun! Variant Lucifer!!

Highlights:
Picking up from last episode, Shu has arrived at the Island of Onigashima and explains that the blader that interrupted Hyuga's match is someone he is coaching. Lui realizes that this must be the one who defeated Free, and agrees to battle him. However, another storm rolls in postponing everything.
While waiting for the storm to end, Hyuga tries to make friends with Lean's hedgehog pet. Lean shows up. He tells Hyuga that strategy and tactics are vital to battling. Hyuga says his strategy is Hyperion. (Now for my favorite quote of the episode.) "Guess it's useless talking sense to an idiot," Lean says looking at Hyuga with disgust. When Hyuga tells Lean not to get cocky and that Hyperion will whack him, they agree to battle.
Meanwhile, Shu tells Honcho that he first met Lean at the New York Tournament. His bey was Uranus, and he craved more of a challenge. In other words, he possessed "Flare," a blazing flame burning with the desire to scorch everything to the ground. Shu felt that if left alone, Lean could burn himself. Shu said, "I want to see the limits of Lean's flare, how intense it can get. And I want to get stronger myself."
You know it's time to battle when the announcer happens to show up. Lean Walhalla with Variant Lucifer has his sights on his next target, the white tyrant, Lui Shirasagijo. Lean tells Leo that Rage Longinus won't be able to touch Variant Lucifer. Everyone except Hyuga doesn't think it's possible. Hyuga, however, just battled Lean so he knows it is true. Lucifer has a barrier around it, which appears to be an invisible wall.
Lui finds the battle exciting and once sent into the Speed Storm's crater, Longinus picks up momentum to push through Lucifer's barrier. "Take on my flare variant wall," Lean shouts holding Longinus off. The battle ends with a simultaneous over finish. Lui laughs saying you are a blader worthy of battling me. You have my attention.
