The overly energetic Drum has heard about Hikaru and Hyuga and excitedly wants to battle them. Unfortunately, between Bombers and the GT Arena training center, poor Drum keeps just missing the brothers.
Ranjiro catches Drum just before he is about to return to Bombers. The two engage in a battle. Drum is going all out with his Tempest Dragon, a clockwise spinning attack-type bey. Both boys have sparking shoots, but Drum's string of attacks is no match for Ranjiro and Ragnaruk is burst.
After the battle, Ranjiro declares he will get his revenge at the Legend Festival, while at the same time Hikaru and Hyuga (who finally arrived) are arguing who will battle Drum next. Drum didn't notice the two brothers and again runs out the door. "Didn't he come to battle us!!!" the brother yell...shocked that they missed him again!
