After being interviewed by the Beyblade News, the Asahi brothers learn that they must take a flight to the next location where the second stage will take place. It's the Grand Arena.
The second stage will be tag battles. Partners are decided randomly. The winners each receive one point. There will be two rounds, and the top four will move on to the final stage tournament! If you didn't already guess by the title, the first match puts Hikaru and Aiga against Lean and Hyuga. The battles begin in one hour.
While Hikaru is practicing with his idol, Aiga, poor Hyuga is left to fend for himself. He is basically abandoned by Lean.
The battle begins with Helios and Achilles trying to break Variant Lucifer's barrier. At the same time Hyperion jumps into a crater. When Hyperion tries to slam Achilles, the impact sends both Helios and Hyperion out of the stadium and leaves Lucifer off balance. This gives Aiga the opportunity to barrel into it and send Hyperion out of the stadium with Achilles.
Because Lucifer hit the ground first, Hikaru and Aiga are the winners and get the point.
