Valt is struggling with his attempts to use his new special move, but he continues to launch a Rush Shoot. Shu explains It was his wrist that when the ball hit Valt, his body tilted forward a bit. Valt tried to correct it without noticing, and stretched his wrist out. Thanks to that, the angle of the launcher and stadium became equal. Valt takes Shu's advice and shoots.

As they all watch, Shu marvels at the speed of Valt's blade. When the opponent takes the center, With speed, it can push them out of it. Valt will call his new technique Flash Shoot.

Elsewhere, Konda Hoji helped Tokonatsu down from a tree. Nika recognizes him as their brother's next opponent. When they follow him to say thank you, the youngsters overhear Wakiya tell Hoji that he doesn't have to win. The twins interpret that to mean that Hoji should lose to Valt on purpose, but the truth is Wakiya meant that then the semi-finals would be a fight between friends.
