Orochi battles as if giving a performance, but it isn't enough to win. Shu is victorious! This means that Shu and Valt will be battling each other in the final...just as they had promised.

When Shu doesn't show up for the after party at the Beyclub, Valt goes looking for him at the hospital. Valt overhears the doctor telling Shu that he could damage his arm more by continuing to blade. Shu tells him that he made a promise. The doctor then asked how the friend would feel if Shu was unable to blade ever again. Valt is devastated to hear this.
