Valt is very worried about Shu especially after overhearing Shu speaking with his doctor.

After thinking about it for a while, Valt goes to Shu's home and says he will drop out of the tournament if Shu doesn't do so himself. Shu is furious and says he knows his own limits. He then takes Valt to the park where he can prove exactly how strong he is. He convinces Valt that they should go ahead with the tournament match.

The next day, the finals begin. Shu takes the 1st point.

NOTE: I've just finished watching the episode on DisneyXD. I'm surprised at the things that were cut from the Japanese version. Often, Valt's tears and snotty nose are cut, as well as, a lot of Shu's grimacing in pain. Guess they didn't want to do anything that would deter the kids from beyblading?? Who knows?
