Valt learns that he has been picked to do the player oath at the National Tournament. Not only does he have stage fright, but the pressure to memorize the full oath is overwhelming.
Later that day, Valt is heading for practice when he sees an awesome skateboarder. He introduces himself and praises the boy who's name is Quon Kimidori. Valt asks if he can try it, and Quon lets him. Unfortunately, Valt runs into a tree breaking the skateboard. Unknown to Valt, the impact causes Valkyrie to slip out of its holder. Valt apologizes profusely and heads to practice. Quon notices something shiny on the grass and picks up Valkyrie.
Later, Quon visits Xhaka, who is an old friend of his, and reveals he'll be entering the National Tournament. Xhaka tells Quon that bladers are getting more and more passionate about the sport and mentions Valt. Quon shows Xhaka Valkyrie. Xhaka laughs, because he knows that Valt must be going crazy looking for his bey.
Xhaka was right. Valt and everyone on his team searched everywhere and could not find the missing bey. At his home, Valt is in a state of shock (his facial expressions are hilarious). Quon arrives with Valkyrie. Valt is ecstatic!
At the Nationals, the team captains take the stage. Valt must say the oath, but he's scared to death. That is, until he looks down at his bey and comes up with an oath of his own that all bladers can appreciate. Good job, Valt!
