Time and Again
Wonderful summary written by Dawn! Images prepared by Julie.
Aiden Avalon is giving a speech on the Egyptian pyramids at Reedington Elementary. The school bell cuts him off since he has run out of time. Li is excited about the pyramids and asks Professor Avalon about them being gone one day. Avalon says that since they've been around for centuries, they wont be disappearing anytime soon.
Shortly afterwards, Zachary comments how Sakura's dad is such a nice guy. Li is surprised and disappointed (that's an understatement) that
Sakura is related to such an interesting person. Later at night, Sakura is carrying a tray of food when Tori opens the door and takes it, telling her
she should go to bed. She goes to bed telling Kero she felt like a fool just standing there. He tells her to forget about it and mentions he's got one
level to go before beating his game.
Meanwhile, at the clock tower near the school, the bells start ringing loudly, and Sakura finds it strange that they'd be ringing in the middle of the night. The next morning, Kero turns on his game to find that he forgot to save. Sakura is frantic about her music and grabs her hat and leaves. Once she's at school she becomes nervous about the class's music test. Madison reassures her that all she needs to do is breathe. When it's her turn, Sakura plays until the middle where she hits a wrong note, and Li finishes where she left off.
At recess Sakura tells Madison she wishes she could take the test over again (careful what you wish for!) while some boys are playing soccer. Li walks by playing his instrument. Sakura thinks he's trying to be cool by walking and playing at the same time when a soccer ball goes flying at Li. He jumps up and kicks it straight into the goal.....everyone applauds.
After dinner, Mr. Avalon asks Tori and Sakura about their tests. Tori seems to have done perfectly and Sakura finds that frustrating. Then she practices the recorder in her room while Kero plays Zylon warriors. He makes sure he saves this time, and Sakura is glad that she can finally play the song without mistakes. At the clock tower, an hourglass is turned upside down and the clock turns backwards.
In the morning Kero finds that there's no data again even though he made sure he saved. Sakura is late and dashes off to school. Madison
asks Sakura if she practiced for the music test and Sakura asks about them having a music the day before. When she's called up, she plays the song perfectly. At recess Sakura talks to Madison about deja vu and about everything that was happening already occurred while the boys are playing soccer. She says Li is going to score a goal when he shows up on cue but he isn't carrying the recorder. He confronts Sakura about everything repeating itself and tells her there's a clow card in the clock tower. And like Sakura predicted, a ball comes flying at Li and he kicks it into the goal.
Evening falls once again. Sakura gets into a yellow fairy costume and Madison films her, commenting how great she looks. Sakura uses the fly card to circle towards the clock tower when they.... start to.... slow.... down.... until they.... stop. The time then goes back to where they're ready for lift off. Kero says it's the Time card and explains about time slips as they fly towards the clock tower again.
The card speeds up time to midnight and starts the whole day over. Sakura groans about the test while Kero complains about his game. Li shows up but he has a bandage on his nose. It turns out he got hit by the soccer ball but at least he scored a goal. Li says they need a card to destroy the tower but Sakura protests that people rely on the clock so they can't just destroy it. Sakura decides to walks up the tower from the inside with Madison and Kero. Outside, Li uses a grappling hook to latch onto the tower. Sakura raises her wand but the Time card stops her in midswing. He's about to turn back time when Li smashes through the window. Sakura pulls out her Shield card to protect them from the power of Time. It works and "time flies" away.
Luckily, Li had lightening charms set around the tower and they zap Time. Sakura seals the card but it goes to Li instead.
Next morning Sakura is glad it's another day, but Madison tells they've got a spelling test today. Oh No....Sakura forgot about that.
