Chapter 2: A Hole and Healer

 

Sakura was heading to the Doctor’s office since she sprained her ankle playing soccer. It hurt a lot, so Sakura finally decided to leave. She forgot her “key” and cards at home though.

 

“OWWW” yelled Sakura, “can we hit any more potholes dad?”

 

“There is no need to get sarcastic” replied her dad, “besides, how am I supposed to know when there is a pothole, they appeared here yesterday.”

 

“That’s weird.”

 

They finally arrived at the doctors, but Sakura couldn’t get up or walk.

 

“Don’t worry” said Sakura’s Dad, “Ill get the doctor to come here.”

 

The doctor then came out and examined Sakura’s ankle. “It sprained all right,” he said, “let me do something about it.”

 

The doctor touched Sakura’s ankle. Sakura could feel that something was happening. She felt something she hasn’t felt in a while. “A Clow card!”  She thought, “And I forgot my wand at home.”

 

“There, how does that feel?” said the Doctor.

 

“WOW, it stopped hurting, thanks!”

 

When Sakura got back home, she quickly called Li and told her what happened.

 

“I bet it is a card, the doctor must be infused with it” Said Li. “Also, the potholes that just appeared over night, I have a suspicion about those as well.”

 

“I wouldn’t be surprised.”

 

“Let’s go tonight and find out!”

That night, Sakura flew to the Doc’s office and found Li already there.

 

“First let’s do the potholes” Said Li. “The biggest pothole is right over here”

 

Sakura followed Li to a huge hole in the middle of the road. “Let’s go in!” Sakura and Li jumped into the hole. “It’s a tunnel” yelled Sakura. After some walking, Sakura saw something. “There he is. Clow-card return to your power combined!!!” The figure then vaporized into a card. Sakura picked it up. “The Dig! Hey, Li, I got the card. Where are you?”

 

“I'm down here!” Sakura went back to through the tunnel and found Li in an even deeper hole.

 

“I got the dig card!” said Sakura.

 

“Great, but can you please let me out now?”

 

“Right, I summon the power of Float! Release!” An orb surrounded Li as both Li and Sakura floated out of the hole. “I’ll use the Earthy card to fill in the holes. EARTHEY, RELEASE!” The earthy moved as the gaps were filled. “Now for the doc.”

 

Sakura and Li ran to the office/apartment building. “He lives upstairs.” Says Sakura, “but the doors are locked, Ill just use this. THROUGH, RELEASE!” The through card made it possible for Li to get through the wall, but Sakura all of the sudden fell in pain.

 

“Sakura, what’s wrong!”

 

“My ankle is hurting again, go get the card”

 

“But I can’t capture cards!”

 

“I’ll meet you up there”

 

So Li goes up into the doctor’s bedroom. “Good thing he is asleep” says Li. He waited for Sakura to come and seal the card, but then a weird light started illuminating from the doctor and headed toward Li. “Oh no you don’t. Force, know my plight, release the light!” A lightning bolt hit the light and made it to its physical form. It looked like a nurse with wings. The nurse attacked again, but this time Li used his sword to try to stab it. Instead, the nurse started to vaporize and turned into a card. Sakura comes running up the stairs.

 

“Where’s the card” she asks

 

“Here, I captured it on my own. Cool huh? The heal card heal a target, but can take it back as well, that’s what happened to you. What's weird is that the doctor hasn’t woken up yet.”

 

“I used the sleep card outside to make sure he doesn’t wake up.”

 

So they went home and went to sleep.
