Chapter 4: Explosive Outfits Part 1
After the incident at Sakura’s house, Li and Sakura tried to stay away from each other. Their attempts were mainly futile since they had the same classes and had the same night hobby.
Sakura was soaring above the town, thinking whether her feelings about Li should be expressed. She wanted to tell someone, but couldn’t let it out. She didn’t know if Li felt the same way about her. Her only choice was to not reveal her feeling to anyone, no matter what. Her heart was full of problems. It was night so she decided to sleep it off. She flew home, her mind full of doubt.
The next day was a Saturday. She wasn’t used to waking up this early on weekends. But she had a dress rehearsal. Her class was going to perform a play about the consequences of polluting. She thought that it was stupid, but it was an easy “A.” After getting dressed and eating breakfast, she sat on the couch. “It is way too early, 7:40, I have 20 minutes to get there and I'm so tired. I’ll just lay here and wait.” Sakura then dozed off. The fact she was on the couch reminded her of that night they caught The Off. She jolted up like she was having a nightmare. She looked at the clock to find out it was… 8:16!!! “I'm late; I’m going to fail this!” She ran outside, know no matter what, her teacher specifically said not to be late today or an automatic “F.” “I’ve got no choice; RETURN, reverse time so I am not late!” She could feel time slipping away. Only people with magic can notice it. “Go back to 7:55, and make sure I’m and awake!”
She opened her eyes. She was back one the couch. “What time is it… 7:56; close enough.” Sakura ran to school, exhausted as ever since the Return Card takes up a lot of energy. She got there just in time.
“You made it in time,” said her teacher, “I’m surprised. Go get dressed, we’re about to start.” Sakura ran backstage to get dressed. She passed by Li. Her feelings and emotions started rushing back. Her face got all red and hot.
“Sakura, what are you doing get dressed.” Said Li. Sakura was just standing there like an idiot.
“I'm going already!” Sakura replied.
The Play was about to begin. Sakura was dressed as a bird. She thought it was so embarrassing. The play started well, but half way, everyone stopped.
“Hey I'm wearing your costume Joe!”
“Yeah, and I'm wearing Madison’s!”
Everyone noticed that their costumes changed. They were wearing each others. Their socks and shirts, even their underwear was different. Sakura looked “down” to notice she was wearing everything Li was (Get it). She could just die from embarrassment now, being in Li’s pants. But she stilled wondered why this happened. “What Clow Card could have caused this, some switching one?” Sakura thought. “I'll come back at night to find out. But I hope Li isn’t their.”
“Are you wearing my clothing Sakura?” asked Li. Sakura faced turned scarlet red.
“I’m gong to change now.” Sakura, along with everyone else went running to change. She wondered if Li was wearing her underwear. “EWWWW!!!!” She thought, yet was intrigued.
That night, Sakura used Fly to fly to the school. It was completely deserted. Everything was dark. She snuck in enough time to know the security system. “I'm going to use thunder to short-circuit everything.”
“No need, I'll use Off.” Sakura turned to find Li right behind her. She tried to ignore the feelings, hoping she wouldn’t blush again. “OFF, turn the security system off!” Out of Li’s card, a weird mist came out and headed into the school, the little beeping red lights just stopped.
“Great” said Sakura “let’s go in. Where is that Through Card? I’m sure I brought it.”
“No you didn’t” replied Li. “You left it on the street when we caught the Heal Card, It’s at my house.”
“Great! Now how are we supposed get?”
“There is a crack in one of the windows, use the little card on us.”
“OK; LITTLE, make us small enough to fit in that crack, RELEASE!” Sakura and Li shrunk down to the size of an eraser. They squeezed through the crack and entered the school.
“Great,” said Li, “now make us big again.” Sakura flipped through the pages of the Clow book. “You do have the big card, RIGHT?!?!?”
“I must have forgot it at home, heheheL”
“What, we are the size of a bug and you expect us to go exploring in the middle of the night, a school That is huge for A CARD THAT FOR ALL THAT WE KNOW COULD BE COMPLETELY INVISIBLE AND HUNDREDS OF FEET HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Sorry Li. Hey, I've got an idea, how about I fly and carry you around the school.”
”You can’t carry me”
“There is nothing I can’t do. POWER, give me the strength to carry Li! FLY card, give me wings!” Sakura then grew wings, lifted Li, and flew toward the door.
“Why don’t we just go home and go back to our normal size?’ asked Li
“The window closed as I tried to get in.”
“You ruin everything, do you? How are we supposed to get passed the door?”
“We’ll find a way” said Sakura, “trust me.”
