Sakura and Tomoyo walked around the corner laughing.

“Kero-chan didn’t!” Tomoyo laughed.

“Did. Can you believe it, Yukito was not happy.”

“Don’t talk about me behind my back!” Kero snapped flying over to them.

“Huh? Eriol-kun!” Sakura shouted.

Eriol turned around and waited for them to catch up.

“You’re in Japan. When did you come?”

“Only this morning,” Eriol said smiling.

“Hello Kero-chan!” Suppi cheered, popping up out of Eriol’s backpack.

“Ahhhhh!” Kero screamed flying backwards, then she whispered, “you haven’t eaten any sweets, have you?”

The children laughed.

“So, how long are you staying?” Sakura asked.

“As long as necessary,” Eriol answered, “Some strange force has erupted up north and found it’s way here. I came back to find out what it wants.”

“But, you won’t have thought to let me know what it is, would you?” Sakura asked.

“Uh, iie. But whatever it is, I think it will bring others like me here.”

“Oh, like Syaoran-kun?”

“Hai. But, I have this idea that they are here because something else might be.”

“Like me?” Sakura asked alarmed.

“Iie.”

Sakura sighed, “few.”

“Something else. But it has the power to hide itself from me.”

“So, how powerful would they have to be?”

“Very.”

“Oh, so this isn’t good… again.”

Eriol shook his head. Sakura sighed again.

“Well, it’s nice to see you again, ja ne.”

The group split up and everyone went their separate ways.

Sakura, Tomoyo and Kero went into the park. There was no one there but one girl in a black fancy outfit.

“Now, I have to make you one like that,” Tomoyo whispered to Sakura.

Magic was coming from her.

“Who are you?” Sakura snapped.

The girl turned her head on angle so she could see, “Why do you care?” the voice was similar to Sakura’s.

The Clow Mistress quickly summoned her staff. This made the girl turn right round. She looked like Sakura; just her hair was long and purple, grown just below her shoulder blades. She seemed a bit taller too. Her eyes were also a purple-green.

“Trust me, I’m one you wouldn’t want to fight.”

Sakura didn’t budge. The girl raised her eyebrow, “Fine.”

“Power of the moon; Shadow’s glowing; surrender the staff; dark shining; release.”

Sakura gasped at the similarity in their incantations. A similar staff to Sakura’s appeared in the sorceress hands. It had dark violet crescent moon with a black ring around it. The staff itself was dark green with a dark grey tip. She held her hand out to the right and a black Clow card shaped card emerged. She brought up to her face and summoned it, calling it the Thunder Card. Sakura and Tomoyo were completely baffled, but Kero knew exactly what was going on. The Thunder Card was now in front of the new girl, but it had black here and there. Its eyes were hollow black and dark crescents were on the paws.

“Sakura-Chan, summon the Thunder Card,” Kero ordered.

“Why?”

“Trust me.”

Sakura did as she was told. And there, were two Thunder cards facing one another, glaring and growling at each other.

“Kinomoto-Chan?”

Sakura looked and saw Syaoran running over to them.

“Li-kun, you’re back?” Tomoyo asked.

Syaoran nodded, “What’s going on?”

“Look for yourself!” Kero snapped.

Syaoran looked past him and at the other Thunder.

“Delfin?”

“Hai,” Kero replied before returning to her true form.

“Kinomoto-chan, copy whatever card they throw out,” Syaoran instructed, “The cards are only powerful against the same one. Just watch it though, if the release that is stronger then yours, you’ll need to think quick.”

Sakura nodded.

“He’s bright, must be Ki’s other. I’ll have to watch him, one false move, and he could get me off guard,” the girls told herself, “unless I get rid of him,” she smirked, “Shadow!”

Her Shadow card was released. It surrounded Sakura’s Thunder. The girl collected another card, faced away from the Card Captors. Syaoran noticed and recognized the moon symbols on the card and confirmed to them that it was the Delfin sorcery; all her cards would have a crescent on their true forms. The sorceress summoned her Thunder, in English, to attack Syaoran. The group jumped separate ways as the Thunder attacked. It went after Syaoran.

“Syaoran-kun!” Sakura cried.

But she couldn’t do anything. Just before it hit a blade reflected Thunder away. The girl glared. A boy the same age as the Sakura and Syaoran was standing in front of the fallen boy, a sword in his hand. Its handle had a sun symbol on it; this made Kero feel calmer about the boy’s sudden appearance. He wore a red and gold robe with the sun and its kanji symbol on it here and there. He had impressive flaxen hair and his eyes looked like cut sapphires. He also had light tan skin and wore golden shades to hide his face from the others. His left fringe fell over his eye and he jumped to face the girl. She walked slowly up to him; anger filled her face. As she walked, she swapped her staff from her right to her left. She stopped only a foot away from him. Lifting her right hand, she struck his face. The boy only his head, waited a few seconds and faced her again calmly, as a red mark started to appear.

“You’re getting in my way, Wu <English>.”

The boy glared and said forcefully, “That’s not my name <English>!”

“It was,” the girl said, then added, “don’t get in my way again, I’ve given you enough chances, Ki <English>.”

She snapped around and used the Power card to make an explosion before disappearing. Ki growled and before the others could say anything, he jumped into a tree and disappeared too. Syaoran knew who Ki was, mainly by name; they had only met once before.

In the sky, the girl was hovering with her Fly.

“He’s still following you, Siko <English>,” said the female guardian.

“Yes <English>.”

With Siko, were two guardians. One was a female; she had black wings with gold symbols on them. Her eyes were a dark brown. The other was a black dog with similar wings; just his symbols were in silver. His eyes wore dark violet his fur is highlighted with green. The dog was surrounded by a silver twister and transformed into a human-like being. He had purple, spiky hair and the same eyes. He kept his wings and was in a sorcerer-like robe. [The entire following paragraph is in English]

“What are we going to do with him?” the male asked.

“Dros, I don’t know. Do you know if I’m the only reason he’s here, Yuki?”

“No, I think it’s because the Seldoms are here too, but, I’m not sure,” the female, Yuki, answered.

“Well, let’s go,” Siko said, leading the way.

“Uh, mistress. What about the Clow children?” Dros asked.

“They are only children. No harm to us will come from them,” Siko told him.

Yuki and Dros both nodded and followed their mistress home.

The next day at school, there were two new students to the class. Their names were Sakura Selean and Den Sun. The looked suspiciously like the kids from the day before. The class went to computers. Sakura S. sat up the back out of sight of everyone else.

“Hey, can I sit here?” Sakura K. asked her.

“Uh, hai,” the other said timidly.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. It’s just. When I’m on the computer, my optometrist told me to wear my glasses.”

“I won’t laugh. I swear.”

“Okay then.”

Sakura S. got her case out of her backpack slowly, opened it and took out her glasses. She didn’t look bad, acutely, she kinda reminded the Clow Mistress of Eriol. She then wondered where he was.

“I hate these,” Sakura S. said annoyed.

“They look fine. Soot you perfectly.”

Sakura blushed, “arigato (thanks).”

The class continued their Information Technology class, Sakura S. helping the other Sakura out a lot to get her work done.

At the university, Touya and Yukito were studying in an empty classroom.

“Touya-kun, konichuwa!” Nakuru screamed.

“Oh no,” Touya said in his head.

“I missed you!” Nakuru jumped on him.

“I don’t even want to know what’s going on in here,” a male voice came from the door.

Leaning there was a boy their age with spiky purple hair and dark violet, sharp eyes, with his arms crossed and a wicked smile on his face. Nakuru slightly blushed.

“Who are you?” Yukito asked.

The boy looked at him, almost alarmed and then satisfied and relieved.

“Boku wa Dros Selean desu (I am Dros Selean). My sisters and I just moved here,” he informed them.

“Your sisters?” Touya asked.

“Hai. Sukito-chan and Sakura-chan.”

“My imoto (little sister) is called Sakura-chan.”

“I think they go to the same school too,” Dros added, “Tomoeda Jnr High, right?”

“Hai,” Touya looked at his suspiciously.

“Dros <English>,” someone called from down the hall.

“Yeah, what’s up, sis <English>,” he answered.

“Am I going to pick up our Mistress or are you <English>?” Sukito asked.

“Uh, I will. Later Sukito <English>,” Dros finished.

Sukito ran off to the library.

“Who was that?” Touya asked.

“My oneesan (older sister). She wanted to know who was picking up my imoto today.”

“Doko kara kimashita ka (where do you came from)?” Yukito asked.

“Eikoku (UK).”

“Oh,” Yukito and Touya said at the same time and looked at each other.

“Well, I have to go. Ja ne.”

“Ja ne,” the boys repeated.

“Mata ashita (see you tomorrow),” Sakura K. called to her friends.

“Sakura-chan, mata ashita,” they called back.

“Oh, their my oneesan. Sakura-chan mata ashita,” Sakura S. said to the new friend walking next to her.

“Oh, hai. Sakura-chan mata ashita.”

Sakura S. ran off over to Sukito.

“How are you Mistress <English>?”

Sakura gave a quiet snort, “Fine, I guess. Let’s get Dross and go home. I want to see how my brothers are <English>.”

“Hai.”

Sakura and Sukito put on expensive and professional looking roller blades and sped off down the road. The passed Dross.

“Oi, Dross, where are you going<English>?” Sakura asked.

“Ki is up there. I need to race him. I challenged him back home before we left <English>.”

“I thought you hated him <English>?” Sukito snapped.

“I do, just I want to fulfill my challenge. I’ll see you girls up the road <English>.”

“We’ll meet you at the park <English>” Sakura ordered.

“Hai. Ja ne.”

And with that, Dros sped off to the school.

“How annoying <English>,” Sakura mumbled.

“Too true <English>,” Sukito agreed.

The girls sped around the corner and straight through the middle of Tomoyo and Sakura K.

“There in a hurry,” Tomoyo pointed out.

“Hai,” Sakura agreed.

In a few minutes, Sukito and Sakura S. were at the park, waiting for the boys. Then, out of nowhere, Den and Dross sped around the corner and skidded to a halt.

“It’s about time <English>!” Sakura snapped

“Sumimasen (sorry),” Dross apologized.

“I’ll see you all later, won’t I <English>?” Den said.

“Heed my warning, Ki. Don’t get in my way <English>!” Sakura snapped forcefully.

Den sped off home.

“Let’s head back. I want to call Eriol and ask him if Drake’s coming too <English>,” Sakura told the guardians.

“Eriol is here <English>?” Sukito asked.

“Hai. Now let’s go.”

They went down the road and into a deserted street.

“You can transform here <English>,” Sakura told them.

A golden twister went around Sukito and she became Yuki again.

“I’ll just keep my wings. Flying dogs are too much around here <English>,” Dros said.

“Hai. Now. Fly!”

They lifted off into the air once Dros’ wings sprouted from his back.

“Kinomoto-chan!” Syaoran called.

“Hai. Nani?”

“Up there,” he pointed.

“Right,” Sakura summoned her staff, “Fly!”

“Ahem,” Syaoran coughed.

“Oh, sumimasen. Float.”

“Arigato.”

“Kero-Chan, can you return to your true form, just in case we need to fight?”

“Hai.”

Kero transformed to Cerberus. The three of them took flight.

“Uh, mistress <English>,” Yuki commented.

“I know. I call upon the powers of day and night. Sun and darkness, unleash you might. Release <English>,” Sakura S. transformed into her sorceress robes, Siko, “Dros, transform to your true form and we’ll get out of here. Meet up with us at home <English>.”

“Hai.”

Dros was surrounded by a silver twister and returned to Diarusu (pronounced Diarus) and flew towards Cerberus, knocking him down. The two started fighting. Yuki and Siko sped off in the other direction.

“I’ll follow them,” Syaoran said.

“Oh, how?”

Syaoran slipped off the Float and hovered. He said an incantation in Chinese and transformed into very formable green sorcerer robes.

“You’re a Raikou!!” Cerberus snapped from below.

“My cousin is the prince. He just rubes off on me,” he called back, “Kinomoto-Chan, I’ll go ahead, you stay with Cerberus-san.”

Li focused his energy and his cape turned into an impressive pair of wings. He soared off in the direction of Siko. Ki flew in next to him.

“Ki <Chinese>!”

“Ai. I’ll take care of Yuki, you can go after Siko <Chinese>,” Ki informed.

Syaoran nodded, “How do you know them <Chinese>?”

“Same country, all that stuff <Chinese>,” Ki informed him.

Syaoran nodded again, they flew on in silence. They spotted the others.

Ki’s eyes narrowed and he flew off faster, his blade just missing Yuki’s wings. She did what Ki anticipated, fought back. Li flew past them, trying to not get involved. Siko commanded a black card into her hands, she summoned it and flew off at an amazing speed.

“Windy,” Syaoran mumbled.

He looked up and around the sky. One dark cloud was there.

“Li, I just wish your trick works <Chinese>,” Syaoran hoped.

Beckoning for his sword, he commanded the lightning to help him travel. The cloud shot out a beam of bright light, hit Li and he was transported through it to in front of Siko. She stopped immediately, glaring at him.

“So,” she told herself, “he’s has mastered some techniques from Raikou, yet he uses them in Clow, interesting.”

She backed up slowly, aware that she was about to fight. Syaoran hit her out of the sky, knowing that she was able to handle it, which, of cause, she was. She slammed into the wall at the top of one of the buildings. Li landed across from her. She easily got to her feet as Syaoran transformed his wings back to a cape. For a split second, panic went over Siko’s face. Before she could react, a revolting, slimy grayish-green demon slammed her against the wall again. Syaoran just watched, unable to think if he should help. The gremlin grabbed tightly around Siko’s fair neck in his warty hands, preventing her from breathing.

“Brother <English>!” she wheezed.

At that moment, the gremlin was turned to dust. Siko hastily seized her neck and lent back against the wall. Syaoran looked to his right.

“Hiiragisawa-san!” he snapped.

Clow looked at him and smiled, he was wearing his robes. Spinel Sun flew down next to him.

“There’s 37 more around the south side of the park <English>,” the guardian informed Eriol.

“37 <English>!” Siko asked as she gasped for air.

“Yes <English>,” Spinel Sun answered.

“Where’s Drake <English>?” Siko asked Eriol in a similar fashion.

“On his way to Japan, he should be here in tomorrow <English>,” Eriol answered.

“Hiiragisawa-san, what’s going on!” Syaoran demanded.

“You’ll see Li-kun, in a matter of time.”

“Oh please,” Syaoran told himself, “for once, can he just talk normally.”

“Eriol-kun!” Sakura was in the air.

Syaoran and Eriol both looked up. A winged teenager in purple and silver robes flew down next to Siko.

“Tomas,” Siko asked, “Where’s Drake <English>?”

“On his way <English>,” the guardian answered.

Siko exchanged glances with Eriol, who just nodded. The sorceress kept an eager eye on the sky. After a few minutes, her temper started to burn.

“DRAKE <English>!!” she snapped.

“I’m here <English>,” the boy sighed, soaring down to them.

“A bit early, you said you’d be here tomorrow <English>,” Eriol mocked.

“I know, but Tomas wanted to argue with Dros, you know how he is <English>,” Drake sighed.

An evil smirk grew on Tomas’ face, which made Drake sigh again. A silver outline went around Siko as a golden one did around Drake.

“There!” they both snapped in unison.

At that moment, more gremlins, the same as the last, came swarming out from behind the wall. Siko snorted.

“Power of the shadows; head my call; provide me your powers; from the moon’s all,” she chanted.

She brushed a few strains of her fringe aside and held out her open palm towards them. From every dark corner and shadow, silver light blasted out and eliminated the demons, or at least a majority of them.

“How many is left, Spinel Sun!” Siko asked.

“Uh, about 62, you got 438 of them,” the guardian replied.

The Clow Mistress and Syaoran’s jaws dropped, they thought how could she be that powerful!

“Blast <English>!” she snapped, “What about the others at the park?”

Spinel Sun looked in that direction, “Ruby says they haven’t moved.”

Siko nodded.

“Since when were you in charge, Sakura <English>?” Eriol mocked.

“Since now <English>,” she smirked.

“Let me handle these ones left, you save your energy <English>,” Drake offered.

“Fine <English>,” Siko replied.

Drake, too, said his incantation, “Powers of Light; come to me; offer me your energy; so light and sun may be.”

A similar action occurred as to Siko’s. Just reflections shot golden lights. These banished the other gremlins. Syaoran and Sakura just watched in amazement.

“Guys, I’ll meet you at home <English>,” Siko told Eriol and Drake, they nodded a reply.

Siko gained her wings again flew off, collecting Diarusu and Yuki on the way.

“Eriol-kun, what’s going on?” Sakura asked.

Drake and Eriol crossed looks and Tomas and Drake left, following Siko’s fashion.

“You heard her question! What’s going on!” Syaoran snapped, very annoyed.

“I’ll explain soon,” Eriol sighed and left with Spinel Sun.

“Why does he always do that,” Syaoran complained inside his head.

“We better go,” Sakura pointed out.

“Hai,” Syaoran sighed.

Sakura watched him, blushing, the whole way back. He used his own wings instead of Sakura’s need of the float. His dark green and slivery black wings caught her eyes. His brilliant brown hair and eyes, made her go even more red. And his soft face, if she looked at it took long, made her just fall apart completely. When she sighed and looked away, Syaoran’s eyes fell on her. He too sighed.

“Ki, we need to talk later,” he told him telepathically.

“Right,” Ki’s voice echoed in Syaoran’s head.

“Are you alright?” Sakura said without looking at him, she could bear it, same with calling his name.

“I’m fine, don’t worry,” Syaoran said, still deep in thought.

“Sure?”

“Hai.”

Sakura didn’t say anything after that. The separated after a few minutes. Sakura went in through her window with Kero lying on the bed, bashed and exhausted. He flew off at the mercy of Diarusu and returned to his borrowed form.

“Kero-chan, are you okay!” Sakura worried.

“Really sore,” Kero gasped.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine after dinner,” Sakura told him happily.

“I hope so, I want some of that ice-cream. But Diarusu is so strong; I don’t know how I can handle him. He seems to just feed off my attack,” Kero sighed, “I think he’s been trained to drain guardians of sun’s energy.”

“Well, he’s not going to win next time!” Sakura snapped, “I’m going to get Yue to help you.”

“Arigato gazaimusu (Thank you),” Kero collapsed back onto the bed.

“Kero-chan,” Sakura sighed, “What do you know about these people?”

“People!! I only saw hitori imasusu (one person)!”

“Well, some boy turned up as well as Eriol-kun.”

“Eriol-kun!!”

“Hai.”

“Hmm, this is strange. The girl, her powers are of Delfin, moon sorcery. What was this boy like?”

“Well, he seemed the complete opposite of Siko-san, that’s what everyone’s calling her.”

“Complete opposite?”

“Hai. He had gold and white, instead of black and silver. The sun powered his incantation and his staff had a sun on it. He had light blue hair, but the really freaky thing is, he looked a lot like Eriol-kun and Siko-san.”

“Nani! But how can that be!”

“I don’t know.”

“What did the Li-kid do?”

“Nothing, he seemed to thinking about something the whole time. Do you want me to call Syaoran-kun?”

“Hai!”

Sakura picked up her phone and dialed Syaoran’s number.

“Mushi mushi (Japanese way of answering the phone),” Syaoran’s voice came.

“Syaoran-kun, Kero-chan wants to talk to you.”

“About…”

“Kero-chan,” Sakura gave the phone to the guardian.

“Okay, Li-kun, Sakura-chan said these new kids looked similar, hai?”

“Hai.”

“Right, do you know if they come from the same source?”

“Iie. As you know, the girl uses Delfin, the boy; he doesn’t seem to use a type. Unless, we were wrong, they could actually be using Raikou, they don’t let you sense the power.”

“Hmm, maybe you’re right. You do know more about Raikou then I would. But, Raikou uses certain aspects of nature, hai? Like shadows, fire, mist.”

“Hai. It doesn’t mean they not using Raikou. Ying and Yang are important in Raikou also. They could be using the moon and sun through the attributes. That also means they could also make their attack stronger. The girl’s confusing; she defiantly uses Delfin, like in the cards. Unless.”

“Nani?”

“Unless they’ve combined Clow and Raikou, it would explain the great similarity in the cards and the extra need in the moon and sun.”

“Hai! But wouldn’t Eriol-kun have said something?”

“He always talks in riddles and will never give a straight answer.”

Kero sighed, “Hai.”

“I think he plays a bigger part then he’s letting out, like last time he was here.”

“Hai. What do we do? It’s rare that I’m going to go with your ideas.”

“Hai. Hmm,” Syaoran was quiet for a few seconds; “I think we should keep an eye on Hiiragisawa-kun. That way, if he is connected, will be able to find out exactly what’s happening.”

“Hai, I’ll tell Sakura-chan, ja ne.”

“Ja ne,” Syaoran hanged up.

Kero informed Sakura on everything Syaoran told her. Sakura frowned.

“Hai, I think we can do it.”

Syaoran waited out on his balcony. Ki flew down and landed, facing him. [This conversation is in Chinese.]

“What is it?” Ki asked.

“I want to know what the Hope did, it’s blurred, we switched, and it went to you.”

“Like wise with the Prigrem Battle. When the Clow Mistress turned it into a Sakura Card, we switched emotions.”

“That explains why I have your back flashes,” Syaoran sniggered.

“Same with you, had fun with the Freeze. Oh, and what about the final judgment, I thought Li and I taught you better.”

“Shut up! Or do I have to remind you of your faults.”

“Sorry.”

“Anyway, I wasn’t about to let Yue and Cerberus know I had Raikou blood.”

“Even without Li being your cousin, it wouldn’t have mattered, with both of us.”

Syaoran sighed, “I know. I barely remember, but it was hard to believe.”

“I know. Us being Teres Reed. Who would of thought?” Ki said, throwing his head back, “They don’t know?”

“No.”

“Good. You haven’t told Cerberus that you’re the son of the moon yet, have you?”

“Of cause not! If I’d tell one of those guardians, it’d be Yue.”

“Got that right. We didn’t like Cerberus much anyway,” Ki chuckled.

“Too true.”

“So, is that it?”

“Yeah, kinda. How are we going to swap back?”

“I don’t know. The Void can do it, if both are used. But, I don’t think it would be strong enough. Last time, it was also the power of the Clow Mistress’ star, so the cards alone won’t be able to do anything.”

Syaoran sighed, “I hate not being able to recall all that. I can’t remember what happened with Hiiragisawa.”

“I do. But I don’t remember where Jem went.”

“I do. It’s too blurry. I can make parts out, like the Void Card itself, but nothing that happened with it.”

Ki sighed, “It’s very confusing. Maybe we’ll figure this out eventually. In the mean time, we’re stuck with it.”

“What does Siko and Drake want?”

“I’ve been told not to share an information, sorry Xaio-Liang.”

“Don’t worry about. Ki, can you tell me what sorcery the use, I get the idea it’s either Clow or Raikou.”

“I thought you would. That’s my information, bet you first thought it was Delfin with Siko, right?”

“Ai (Yes).”

“Anyway, they’re using both, but the strange thing is, mostly Clow. I’ll say, that’s where Hiiragisawa comes in.”

“Thanks for your help. Bye Ki.”

“Bye.”

And with that, Ki flew off again with Syaoran watching his fade into the distance with the sunset.

The next morning, Syaoran woke up to his phone.

“Mushi mushi,” he groaned.

“Syaoran-kun?”

“Hai.”

“Can you meet me at the Shrine in ten minutes?”

“Hai.”

“Arigato, ja ne.”

“Ja ne.”

Syaoran dragged himself out of bed and got into his uniform. He ate quickly and made his way to the shrine.

“Syaoran-kun!” Sakura called.

He strolled over and sat on the seat beside her. Li slouched over, still very tired.

“How did you get up this early?” he complained, it was 6 o’clock.

“Ask the card,” she replied.

He threw his head back over the edge of the bench, there was no point arguing against the cards.

“Well, nani? You got me out of bed half an hour early.”

“Nani! You get up then!”

“Hai, obviously, at least I don’t sleep in all the time,” he mocked.

“Shizukani (Be quiet)!”

“Sumimasen.”

Sakura sighed; she could yell at him, “I was up early this morning. Anyway, Windy woke me up and Thunder was in its true form in my room. Do you know how much explaining that might of cost me!”

“Thunder? Did you bring it?”

“Hai,” Sakura showed him the card.

Syaoran nodded, “Summon it.”

Sakura did so. Like Kero, she knew Syaoran still knew a lot more about the cards then her, that’s why she trusted him. Thunder now stood in front of them. But instead of its usual over confident self, growling and howling, it was quiet and very timid like. Its head looked around every way, like something might attack it with huge force at any moment. It was also wailing.

“It was like that this morning. Complaining and bawling.”

Syaoran stood up and went to Thunder. It would normally look at him like Syaoran was equal to him, one it could trust and wouldn’t betray it; but it was whimpering, head down, and slowing going backwards. Syaoran didn’t understand. He didn’t want to summon any lightning; it could actually terrify Thunder in its state. Li held out his hand, ridge, finger bending in; Thunder moved back. Syaoran frowned worryingly. A small orb of lightning lit up slowly in Syaoran’s open hand. Thunder tilted its head slightly to the side and watched the orb, with an _expression of confusion and hope. Syaoran smiled as Thunder lightly trotted over to him. He sniffed the orb, howled blissfully and nudged Syaoran hard in the stomach, which he was ready for. Syaoran withdrew his energy and patted Thunder’s muzzle. Sakura smiled and blushed gratefully. Syaoran bent down to Thunder’s head level, whispered a few words before standing again.

“Thunder’s fine now,” Syaoran told the Clow Mistress.

“Arigato gozaimasu,” Sakura said.

Thunder growled, which made the two turn and look at it.

“Kinomoto-chan, can you get out mirror, we need it to tell us something.”

Again, Sakura did so. Mirror emerged its true self.

“Thunder’s alright now?” it asked concerned.

Syaoran nodded, hand on Thunder’s back.

“Good. Sakura-chan, trouble is here in Japan. We are all confused and, as you saw, afraid of this power.”

“What is it?” Syaoran asked politely, noticing that Mirror too sounded fearful.

“The Seldom sorcery. Some Clow magic has returned, but we don’t think we stand a chance. The cards, especially Thunder, think Raikou may be able to help.”

Thunder was one card the Clow Reed’s father asked him to create, being a magician of Thunder. Clow had gained much of his magic from Raikou, for it was a major source back then and, like many types, came from it. Clow’s father, Teres, was an important sorcerer in Raikou, being the cousin of the king at the time.

“But, Li-kun, would he be strong enough? I mean, he is powerful, and so are the guardians, but, something tell s me, it’s still not enough,” Syaoran added.

“We need all the help we can get. If we start with Raikou, then can easily inquire others to help. If you ask his highness, he has the wizard and witches, as well as many warlocks and other sorcerers, not to mention the chosen ones. That’s a lot of power,” the mirror pleaded.

“I’ll see what I can do.”

“Also, tell Cerberus, he needs to know, he doesn’t get on well with Draken,” the mirror finished and returned to its card.

“You and Kero-chan were talking about Raikou before, what is it?” Sakura asked, receiving her card.

Syaoran informed her of its history and they both rushed to school before the bell rang. Everyone thought Syaoran was sick, almost being late, and Tomoyo reminded Sakura she had two star cards in her hand. Eriol laughed at her and everyone noticed that he was back and said hello. Sakura introduced the other one to Eriol. Everyone went to his or her seats as the teacher strolled in. They had never seen this teacher before, at least everyone but Syaoran and Den who sat up in attention. She had long black-violet hair and a stern but sweet face. She was tall and her smile hid her dark green, sharp, narrow eyes.

“Minasan ohayoo gozaimasu (good morning everyone),” the teacher said cheerfully.

“Sensei ohayoo gozaimasu (good morning teacher),” everyone chorused.

“Watashi wa Hou-Shui sensei desu (I am Ms Hou-Shui/Teacher Hou-Shui),” the teacher introduced.

Drake Sealen was a new student, Eriol made him welcome by allowing him to sit next to him. Eventually, the Sakura and the other went to Music. Eriol was asked to play the piano, but Sakura S. did much seem interested in it.

“Miss Sealen, what is it?” the teacher asked and everyone turned around and look at her.

Sakura snorted, “nothing madam.”

“Well, do you have any talents you wish to share with us?” the teacher said annoyed.

Eriol made his way to his table as Sakura walked up to the piano. She sat down and started to play ‘My Heart Will Go On’ (Titanic) and sang the lyrics. Everyone listened intensively, enjoying it significantly. Once she had finished it, the class applauded it loudly, some girls almost going to tears.

“Very…nice,” the teacher said shocked, “now, who was it whom was playing the flute during that?”

Everyone looked at one another, they heard the flute, but didn’t know anyone who could play it. Sakura S. eyed Den on her way to her chair, he just smirked.

“If she thought the flute was weird, try adding a violin to it,” Drake mocked.

“Do you even have it here?” Sakura S. snapped.

“Uh, no. It’s back in the mansion,” he answered.

Sakura S. groaned, annoyed at her brother.

“Well?” the teacher asked, “who played the flute?”

Sakura and Drake eyed the back of Den’s head. He feel them looking at him, he wasn’t surprised.

“You know,” Den told Syaoran, whom he was next to, “I played the flute.”

Syaoran looked at him. Den pulled his flute out slightly from under the desk. Syaoran smiled, so they both could play. It disappeared from view as the teacher walked around the classroom.

“All well,” she sighed, standing in the gap next to Den’s desk.

As she walked back out the front, Syaoran and Den snicked to themselves.

Class finished and everyone exited the classroom and went to recess. Syaoran and Den sat across from Sakura K. group and Eriol, Sakura S. and Drake sat by the tree further away. The boys finished quickly and went off, leaving Eriol’s group watching them curiously.

“Well, well. What do you think their up to <English>?” Drake asked.

“Don’t know, but I think we can see <English>,” Sakura sneered.

“Not near them. Who can wonder what they’d think if they saw you using magic <English>,” Eriol said calmly.

Sakura S. nodded, stood up and walked off, preventing any interference.

“Powers of Yang; let light dimmer; allow me to see the unseen; within my moon mirror <English>,” she chanted.

Silver and black air swirled in her hands before becoming a sliver crescent moon filled with an empty black. She swiftly walked back to her group and sat down in front of them.

“Mirror, show what I wish to see <English>,” she commanded.

The black started to fade into colour. All of a sudden, everyone heard two flutes playing. Students everywhere looked in all direction to see where it was coming from, but couldn’t find the source. The image became vivid. Syaoran and Den were playing and energy reviving spell, only done with song.

“Not surprised, they probably know about the Seldom. They are hoping that this will give them more power, since you made a bad first impression, Siko <English>,” Drake mocked.

“Shut up you! I know what I’m doing <English>,” she snapped.

“Yes, and a very formable plan <English>,” Eriol added.

“Wait a sec, I’m the plan maker out of us <English>!” Drake barked.

“Not when it comes to the moons powers <English>,” Siko bragged.

The three of them continued to watch the boys. They did ‘til Siko was getting annoyed. She waved the left hand over the mirror back and forth once. The boys stopped as the roof pushed them backwards before returning to it old self. All the students groaned.

“Whoa, sis, you’ll have to teach me that one <English>,” Drake smirked.

She snorted, “sure, some other time. Mirror, return hidden <English>.”

They got up as the bell rang and continued the day normally. Sakura K. asked Syaoran and Den why they kept rubbing their heads. They said it was nothing. At the end of the day, Tomas, Ruby and Dros were out the front of the school. Tomas was hitting on Ruby, and Dros was practically hanging on the fence.

“Are you okay, Dros,” Drake asked, with Sakura S. and Eriol following him.

“Tired, that’s all,” he answered and the Sakura he said, “I think Cerberus did something <Latin>.”

“It’s just because he’s a sun guardian, that’s all <Latin>,” Sakura answered.

“Hey, is that the language only you and Suppi-chan know,” Ruby pointed out.

“Hai.”

Dros and Sakura headed off in front of Eriol, Drake and their guardians. Dros started to slow down after they were ahead of the others by a few streets.

“I think you should return to your true form, you don’t look very good <English>,” Sakura told him.

“If you say so <English>,” Dros said.

He returned to Diarusu.

“I suppose I should use that shrinking spell Draken taught me <English>,” the dog said.

Sakura nodded. Diarusu’s wings wrapped around him and he shrank, doing a back flip as he finished.

“Very nice. I’m impressed. It didn’t take much energy <English>?”

“Not one bit <English>,” Diarusu said proudly, his voice a lot younger, like a little kid, just it had a dark tone in it.

“Good,” Sakura said as Diarusu flew up to her.

She carefully placed him in her backpack and walked on.

“Sakura-chan,” Sakura K. called.

“Oh, konichuwa Sakura-chan,” Siko falsely smiled.

“Uh, where’s your Oniisan?” the Clow mistress asked.

“Oh, he’s just picking up something up from the shop, I’m meeting him at home.”

“Okay then. Well, mata ashita.”

“Mata ashita.”

Sakura walked off. Siko sighed. She transformed into her robes and used the fly to get home. Sakura remember that she had something to ask Sakura S. but when she turned around, Siko wasn’t there. Confused, Sakura K. walked home.

“That was close <English>,” Diarusu said, poking his puppy dog like head out of the bag.

“I know <English>.”

“Do you think she knows, Mistress <English>?”

“No. She doesn’t seem to. And she doesn’t sense your magic or mine, looks like my old curses are working <English>.”

“Like a charm <English>,” Diarusu sniggered.

They flew on. [The following is in English]

“Hey,” they heard behind them.

“What the hell do you want!” Siko snapped.

“I’m saying ‘hello’! Gees, why do you always try to bite off my head?”

Diarusu smirked to himself, but continued to watch.

“Okay Ying, what do ya want!”

“To give you this,” showing her a letter, “it’s from Crow and Raven, I’m sure you want to read it.”

Siko glared at him and snatched the letter from his hand. Ki looked hurt.

“They also have some information about the Seldoms,” Ki added, still upset.

He turned around, without moving his head. Took one last glance at Siko and left. The sorceress snorted.

“Why are you so hard on him?” Diarusu asked.

“He just…” she didn’t know.

“He just what?”

“He just gets on my nerves easily, he knows how to annoy me. And, he is completely opposite to me.”

“Isn’t that what you find charming?” Yuki mocked, flying over to them.

“Oh shut up, Yuki! It most defiantly is not!” Siko flushed.

“Right,” Yuki said sarcastically, “Diarusu, why are you in diminutive form?”

“Leave me alone! Cerberus took a lot of my energy, kay!”

“Chill, chill. I wasn’t trying to be annoying.”

Diarusu snorted. They want home and Siko unpacked her bag and slouched onto the lounge. She looked down at the letter. It was so long since she heard from her cousins in the other realm. Crow was one of rebellion leaders. Her particular group were known as the Eclipsens. She and Raven lead a half each of the Eclipsens. Crow lead the canine group (ones which could metamorph into any sort of dog [her self being a wolf]). Raven lead the felines (he was a cheetah), he usually attacked the southern areas while his cousin attacked the north. The whole point of their proud rebellious nature was the fact that the nobles were the only ones who could go to schools to become a mage or to help in the castles. Crow and Raven also had other opinions, such as their appetite for the battles. Their group was enormous, every one having at least one psyches, which are animals that are linked through the minds and are able to speak human tongue when they talk to those also with psyches or their partner. The Mages had links, but they weren’t the same. They could only talk to their partner through the mind. Most of the Eclipsens had birds, some had cats and some had small mystical creatures, like dragons.

Siko opened the letter hastily. It told her that Crow and Raven had completely destroyed the Capital’s (nobles and senate) main army. They also got a few of their people into the most respected mage school there was. Siko’s cousins went on saying that the Seldom fighters have all left Vetrica (the realm’s name) and have headed to Japan. The Seldom’s present leader was someone by the name of Yumako. Siko called Yuki and Diarusu to also read. He was said be positioned somewhere in Grento, Raikou’s neighboring realm. It went on about where their patrols were, etc. Siko, Yuki and Diarusu weren’t surprised that Crow and Raven had this information; they could always sneak their way into place to get it. The phone rang [conversation in English apart for the exact translations]

“Mushi mushi,” Siko said.

“Siko, nice to hear from you again,” the voice came back.

“Li!”

“Ai.”

“Yes? What is it?”

“My cousin hasn’t got any information, has he?” Li asked worried.

“No.”

“Good. He shouldn’t know, not just yet anyway.”

“Have Raven and Crow informed you yet?”

“Ai, I just got their letter. I think the Seldoms had already planed this out.”

“So do I. I don’t think they would be just carelessly releasing gremlins all over the city.”

“About how many places?”

“Hmm. I sense, about 15 or 16, I can’t tell.”

“They’d have a lot in all of them anyway.”

“I think they must be guarding the entry of someone or something; or they’re trying to get our minds off their real threat.”

“True, true. I’m coming there in two days or so. That will start them worrying.”

“Wouldn’t they think that you know something and insist more help?”

“No. One they can’t hear my call and two, I have ways of deceiving them. I wouldn’t worry about it. I have friends in Japan that don’t live far from there, so if they make an attempt to search my mind, it would only mean I’m visiting, unless this Yumako is smarter then the last leader.”

“You’re right,” Siko sighed, “I just hope, that with some Raikou worriers, we’ll be able to defeat them.”

“Well… Rai and Ren are coming too.”

“Really!”

“Ai. I have to bring them. Two boys from Australia are also coming.”

“Australia? Aren’t they those two that own Freezon and Arieas?”

“Ai. Duo Croft and Darien Hooley.”

“Oh yes, I remember who they are. Mark and Dan told me about them.”

“So you’ve met Mal’s new friends?”

“Yeah. They live in the same neighborhood as my brothers and I.”

“Good. They may be coming. But everyone’s arriving at different parts of Japan, we can’t have everyone in the same spot, or they’ll defiantly get suspicious.”

“True. Well, I’ll be looking forward to seeing you all. Later.”

“See you soon.”

Li hanged up first. Siko sighed.

“Was that his highness <English>?” Yuki asked.

“Yes <English>.”

“So, they’re all coming?” Diarusu lent his chin on the back of the couch.

“All of them. Every chosen one and every single mage of the council <English>."

A mage of the council are sorcerers and sorceresses that are friends of Li Zhe-Shang.

“I think we might actually stand a chance <English>,” Yuki cheered.

Sakura walked out onto the balcony and lent over the railing.

“So do I. I just wonder how long it will take for my brothers to find out <English>,” Siko told them.

She then narrowed her eyes a little and went deep in thought. Yuki and Diarusu looked at each other and shrugged.

“What do you think she so bothered at?” Yuki asked Diarusu.

“You know who probably.”

“She’s been a lot more uptight since the Void was released. I think she misses him, even if she won’t admit it,” Yuki explained.

“10 out of 10 there,” Diarusu agreed, “But the weird thing is, Drake was acting strange too. Eriol, hai well, it was his past life’s card, so it’s understandable why he was so upset.”

“Hai, I guess, Drake is Siko’s twin,” Yuki sighed, “I’m going to make her a big dinner to cheer her up. Hey, here’s an idea. See if she what’s to invite the Clow and everyone here. Make up a reason, then encourage you know who to come.”

“Good idea. But, you know I can’t cook.”

“Hai, well, I’ll do all the cooking, probably burn something, get annoyed and use a spell, but, hai, I’ll cook.”

“Arigato.”

“Okay, go, go.”

They started their plan. Yuki went to the kitchen and started dinner while Diarusu flew over to Sakura who was still depressed, resting on the rail.

“Uh, mistress. Do you think we should invite the Clow mistress and that here?”

“Why?” Siko mumbled, not even noticing the grief in her voice.

“Well, you may be able to get some information out of them, or be able to see what allies we have,” Diarusu suggested.

“Hai. Invite them, but, are you strong enough to stay in your borrowed form?”

“Hai, in a few minutes, after I’ve done a spell.”

“I’ll do it. Who’s cooking?”

“Yuki.”

“Tell her that she still needs to return to her borrowed form too.”

“I will.”

Siko turned to Diarusu but her back was pushed against the railing. She mumbled a few words and a crescent went onto Diarusu as he felt his powers returning. He used the same technique he did to become small to return to his true self and used the twister to go to his human-like guardian’s form. Sakura watched him go to the phone as he started calling everyone. The mistress went to the kitchen door.

“Thanks, Yuki. I know what you two are trying to pull off <English>,” Siko smiled.

“What do you mean <English>?” Yuki said innocently.

“Don’t try and fool me. Remember, I’m your mistress, I know when you guys are trying to do stuff like this,” she started to head into her bedroom, “Oh, and Yuki, you’ll need to return to your borrowed form. I think Yue’s other form might be invited,” Sakura saw Dros nod as she said this.

Yuki did as she was told and made dinner. Sakura walked past Dros, who was still calling everyone, down the hall and into her room, closing the door gently behind her. Dros finished his call as Sukito walked out.

“She knew.”

“Not surprised.”

“Have you called him yet?”

“First one.”

“Are Eriol and Drake coming?”

“Of cause!”

“Is…Yue coming?” Sukito blushed.

“Yes,” Diarusu said in a suspicious voice, “you know I’d call him.”

“Well, is Lenia coming?”

“Hai,” Dros went red.

“SO! Why are you teasing me?”

“Sumimasen.”

Sukito sniggered, “you asked Drake to make sure she was coming, didn’t you?”

“Hai.”

The female guardian sighed, “Well, hurry up and call everyone.”

“Oh. I heard the Clow Thunder was playing up!”

“How so!” Sukito said worryingly.

“Hai. The Seldoms have got to all of them, even the half Raikou cards.”

“Then Siko better not use hers yet.”

Dros nodded, “you should be getting dinner ready. Now go.”

“Fine, I’ll let you ring Drake again and make sure that Lenia coming, again.”

“Leave me alone!”

They continued what they had started.

Sakura S. lay on her back, looking at the ceiling. She could hear Sukito and Dros arguing and heard about Thunder. She frowned. She tried to figure out how her plan was supposed to go again. She snatched up the paper on her on her table and looked at it. One thing she hadn’t figured out was how she was meant to start working with Sakura K. She was confused. Siko sighed in frustration. Should she just confront her about it, or wait for when they were both battling the Seldom gremlins? Or could she just get Eriol to do it? She sighed again. What was she going to do? Maybe she could get Li do tell them, she thought suddenly. Syaoran would refuse his own cousin’s words, he, being a prince, knew what he was saying. Siko thought about this and shook her head. Syaoran will still be suspicious, Siko needed to tell Sakura first, that way, even though it will be hard, Syaoran will be able to accept it. Now Siko had to figure out when. Tonight, she told herself, best time. If she did told her too late, they won’t side with her, and maybe they won’t trust Eriol either. She jotted down her plan on the paper and looked at it smirking. She had completely finished working it out. She got up and went out to see Dros improving his mind, eyes closed; and smelt Sukito’s wonderful cooking. Siko smiled, everything was going to work out. Everything she planned did. Drake may have come up with the best plans, but sometimes, they wouldn’t always work. That’s when the rare occasions she made the plan they never failed. Her negative subconscious half told her, there’s always a first time. With her other half, she demolished the idea and shook her head. In a couple of hours, everyone started arriving, starting, of cause, with Eriol and Drake. Syaoran and Den arrived at the same time, followed directly by Yukito, Sakura K. and Tomoyo. Everyone sat down at the extremely large dinning table. Eriol sat at one head and Siko at the other. Den and Syaoran sat across from each other exactly in the middle, used to sitting at the heads, but they were occupied. Dros sat to Siko’s right as Ruby sat to Eriol’s. Drake sat on Den’s left and Tomas sat on Syaoran right. Sakura K. was on Syaoran’s left and Yukito was on hers. Everyone else was just everywhere. Sukito, with the help of Lenia, brought out the food and everyone started to eat. Sukito even dropped some food into Kero’s open mouth; Kero had sneaked into Sakura’s bag before they left. Siko told Eriol her plan through their minds, he nodded approvingly. Tomoyo started a conversation by saying how nice Siko’s mansion was. Everyone then began to talk, apart for Syaoran and Den, who were taught to eat in silence.“Dros, you could of done better by making him sit next to me <English>,” Sakura S. mocked.

“I forgot <English>.”

Siko shook her head. Sakura K. tried and succeeded getting Syaoran to join in talking. Drake started talking to Den quietly, as Siko looked their way. She blushed violently.

“Uh, Sakura-chan, could you pass the Dim Sims,” Siko asked, controlling herself.

Siko put 4 on her plate.

“Calm down, mistress <English>,” Dros hissed in her ear.

“I’ll be fine <English>,” she told him.

She ate silently until a high piercing scream shattered to happiness.

“Nani?” Tomoyo asked shaking.

“I’m going to go check it out,” Yukito offered.

Drake and Siko eyed their male guardians at once and they stood up.

“I’m coming.”

“So am I.”

“It’s alright. I’ll be fine.”

“I’m coming,” Dros said forcefully.

Everyone looked at him. By the looks on everyone’s face, including Tomas’ (who’s _expression defiantly showed fear) wasn’t going to argue.

“I’m coming too,” Tomas added.

Yukito caught Eriol’s eye, he nodded. Dros and Tomas looked at their masters, they nodded in unison. They looked at each other, glared and followed Yukito outside.

“Uh, Sakura-chan, where’s the bathroom?” Sakura K. asked.

“Follow me,” Siko got up.

All the boys rose as the ladies left the table and sat back down as they disappeared down the hall.

“Here.”

“Arigato.”

As Sakura shut the door, Siko sighed.

“Sakura-chan, if you’re just transforming your staff, there’s no need for secretes.”

Sakura opened the door, “Nani?”

“I know,” Siko continued, “Watashi wa Siko desu.”

Sakura looked at her in shock, “Siko-san desu ka (Are you Siko)?”

“Hai.”

“But why? Why did you do all that?”

“I’ll explain all that later. Sakura-chan, please, ask my brothers, I didn’t come here to just harm you.”

“Why then?”

“Don’t you remember what Eriol-kun did when he was here? Mine purpose is similar.”

“Then, Dros-kun and Sukito-chan, they’re those guardians, aren’t they?”

“Hai. Diarusu and Yuki, they are my protectors. They also are here to help my being remain a secret.”

“Well, I think we can have this discussion later, right now we have to help.”

“Hai. Just later, can we not have Li-kun in the discussion, you know how he is?”

Sakura giggled, “Hai.”

Siko told Eriol what happened and everyone else moved outside. Siko returned to her sorceress robes and she and Sakura summoned her staff. They went to everyone outside as Den and Drake went into their sorcerer robes.

“A dragon?” Sakura asked.

“Silver neck scale. Li has one just like it,” Siko said.

“Hai,” Den agreed.

“How do you know Li-kun!” Syaoran snapped.

“Nani?” Sakura asked.

“Long story,” Siko said, but non-the less, you’ll find out…eventually.”

The dragon screamed again. Siko used the usual trick with wings and a cape. She took off into the air and looked at the dragon. She eyed Dros whose wings sprouted from his back.

“Nani no (What the)?!” Kero shouted, flying out of the house.

“Kero-chan! Nani? I said to stay at home.”

“That’s Diarusu’s borrowed form!”

“I know.”

“Nani!”

Dros went to his mistress; “It’s quite small, for one with that sort of power. Do you think the Seldom sent it, I mean, how would they get one <English>?”

“I don’t know, but they probably sent it. But why, I have no idea. What are they after <English>?”

The dragon turned its gigantic head towards them. Dros glared and snarled, transforming. He shook his head.

“Hiiragisawa-kun, nani going on!” Syaoran demanded.

“You’ll see soon, Li-kun,” Eriol said calmly.

Drake watched the moons do their job. He eyed Tomas, whom was anxious to fight also, standing to his right. Diarusu and Siko split apart as the dragon blew fire their way.

“I’m taking a chance. It’s the only way I can defeat it without wasting my powers,” Siko told herself.

She summoned the Windy and it worked with no difficulty. She then called the Shadow, which as seceded. The Shadow devoured the creature and destroyed it. Diarusu proved his point correct after demolishing 78 gremlins. They returned to the others.

“Siko-chan,” Ki said.

“Hai.”

“Fly.”

“Why?”

“Just do it.”

She frowned, but obeyed. That second, flames came blasting at her out of nowhere. She dodged it and the ones to follow.

“Siko,” Ki hissed, “They’re after her.”

“But, why?” Drake asked.

“I don’t know,” Ki was starting to worry.

Siko continued to dodge the flames. Something jumped on her back. It was too heavy for her, so she crashed to the ground. The creature wouldn’t get off. It was a griffin of some sort, and it was very strong. Out of nowhere, two more dragons appeared and fused into one.

“When will they give up!” Ki snapped.

Syaoran and Ki exchange looks; nodded and faced each other, swords in hand. The blades touched and they swung them up about head height and the sound rang off the blades. They turned in the same direction and held their sword different ways. They transformed the hilt into a moon (Syaoran’s) and a sun (Ki’s). Their robes also changed, the kanji signs for either the moon or sun was on their robes (not a big difference for Ki). They then held their swords in front of them and, as if some strong wind was pushing them, the combined into the same being. But they now look nothing like either of them. The power, however, was easily recognized. Yue, know transformed, was the first to identify it.

“Teres?”

The new person before them now transformed his sword into a staff and turned to face them. They smiled at Yue and nodded.

“Very good Yue. I didn’t have any doubts that you would be able to recognize me.”

They couldn’t work out whose voice it was. It sounded like Ki, but then, it sounded like Syaoran at the same time. It was like the voices were one and the same, but not two different voices at once. Yue slightly bowed his head.

“So, this whole time, you were still here too!” Kero snapped.

Teres smiled, “I kept my promise, Cerberus. In my own way.”

“You’re even more confusing then him,” Kero shoved his head in Eriol’s direction, “Must be where he got it from.”

“Cerberus!” Yue snapped.

“It’s alright, Yue,” Teres chuckled, “We didn’t get along well in the first place.”

“Explains a lot about the Kid, now doesn’t it?”

Teres ignored him and he turned to the dragon. He raised the staff above his head, it glowed purple and the dragon vanished. Everyone’s jaws dropped.

“Wait, wait a minute. How come you can use most or all of your powers, but Eriol-kun can’t,” Kero objected.

“Because, both halves of the recantation are one, Cerberus. That means the powers of those both used and hidden are brought together. But, I do not have all my powers returned,” Teres answered.

The sorcerer looked up at the griffin, transformed the staff back to a sword, gained wings and flew up to Siko. Teres destroyed the griffin. Siko struggled to her feet.

“Siko,” Ki voice echoed in her head, “Fly, now, get moving, they’re still more.”

She again did as she was told. But, something hit her. Something with points.

“Yumako!” Teres snapped.

“Amazing. You haven’t lost the ability to identify,” the boy said, a golden sun, such as on the Clow cards, in his hands.

Siko, being a servant of the moon, was badly injured by this. She now lay unconscious on the rooftop.

“Siko!” Ki cried inside the mind chamber.

“Ki, we can’t help her. Not yet. We can’t let him see that it will get to us,” Syaoran called to him.

“But, Siko!” tears rolled down Ki’s cheek.

Syaoran put his hand on his shoulder, “don’t worry, we’ll split soon. I don’t think we can last having so much power for that long.”

Ki look up at him and nodded, “you’re right…again.”

He rubbed the tears from his eyes.

“He just better not harm Sakura, or he’s got another thing coming,” Syaoran smiled.

Ki laughed, then concentrated on the subject at hand. Just as they were about to launch an attack, Yumako disappeared. Teres split into Ki and Syaoran again, both falling to the ground, unharmed. Ki struggled to his feet, he summoned his wings.

“Ki, no! You’re too weak!” Syaoran shouted.

But he didn’t care. Ki flew up to Siko as she was coming around. She groaned painfully. Diarusu joined them.

“My…my ankle,” Siko complained.

Ki looked at it. Siko’s ankle had already started to swell.

“It’s broken,” Ki tried to sound calm.

Diarusu took them both down to the others. Siko was taken to her room and the others felt like staying there for safety in numbers. Sakura was sitting on the end of Siko’s bed as she went to sleep.

“Come on,” Syaoran said, “she needs to sleep.”

The two of the walked out the door. Ki snuck in quietly. He knelt in front of the bed. She opened one eye to see who was there before opening the other. She made a weak smile and sat up. [In English]

“The fusion will have its affects in 35mins,” Ki told her, trying to smile.

“I understand,” she looked away.

Ki lifted her chin to look at him, “Siko, you’ve known. Please, don’t blame yourself.”

“I won’t.”

“Then except my gift.”

She frowned, “I can’t.”

“Siko, please.”

“Uh, okay.”

Ki hopped up onto the bed beside her. They cuddled up together and Ki sent hid energy into Siko. They pulled apart and Siko went back to sleep. Ki helped tuck her under the sheets.

“Ki,” she called as he walked to the door.

He snorted happily and smiled, making his way to her side. He bent over and kissed her. They were there for a few minutes before Ki pulled away. They said goodnight and Ki left. He walked into the living room and flopped onto the couch next to Syaoran. [Chinese]

“20mins,” he told Ki.

“Yeah,” Ki sighed, “Our timing was off a bit.”

“Don’t worry, Ki. If the Void is used along with the Hope by both of them, we might return to normal.”

“Looks like we’re already swoping. That sound’s like me. I can’t wait ‘til this doesn’t need us to switch everything in our heads.”

“Same, I’m going to miss Sakura,” Syaoran sighed.

The boys left the room and went to sleep. Diarusu made 20min check-ups on Siko, making sure Yumako hadn’t come back.
