Tragically, Nunnally was caught in the crossfire during the assassination of her mother. She was paralyzed as a result of bullet wounds to her legs and blind by what is believed to be psychological trauma. Like her brother, Lelouch, she was sent to live in Japan with the Kururugi's after her mother's death. During that time, she became very fond of Suzaku. After the invasion of Japan, she went to live with her mother's allies, The Ashfords and is currently attending their middle school. Nunnally's gentle desire for peace is one of the driving forces of Lelouch's goal to overthrow Britannia. In the second season, Nunnally takes on an entirely different role as the Viceroy of Area 11 replacing her deceased sister, Princess Euphemia. She eventually learns of the chaos her brother has caused and..... (not going to give away that spoiler...you'll just have to watch for yourself!!) |
