Highlights:
Kyo leaves and instructs Tomoro to make breakfast for everyone. Not knowing how to do that, Tomoro destroys the microwave when he attempts to make eggs in it. It needs repairs so bounty money is needed.
Off they go to Maki, but the Five Stars have taken all of the bounties. In walks Yosshi asking for cleaners to capture a Digimon running wild in the mountains. He tried not to get Glowing Dawn involved, but they overheard him.
They head to the mountains in Yosshi's car. Suddenly, they come across two unconscious men. They are not dead, but close due to loss of e-Pulse.
Tomoro ventures into the woods when Gekkomon runs off. He is attacked by the Digimon, Blackgaogamon. Thankfully, Kyo and Murasamemon run him off. Kyo is very weak, and the others learn why.
Kyo has been keeping rookie digimon safely away from the Ministry in Norinso Shelter. He has been keeping them alive by feeding them some of his e-Pulse, but it takes a toll on him.
While Kyo slept, everyone prepares for another visit from Blackgaogamon. Tomoro tells them he doesn't think Blackgaogamon wants to hurt anyone. (We learn that Blackgaogamon was abandoned, because he refused to get rid of people for his owner.)
To make a long story short, Blackgaogamon returns. He's crying that he doesn't want to hurt anyone, but doesn't want to disappear either. Kyo offers his arm. He says everyone deserves a second chance.
Blackgaogamon reduces himself to a rookie to join the others.
Later, Yosshi repairs the hologram machines that surround the shelter. His superior intelligence surprises the younger Golden Dawn members.
Kyo agrees to teach Tomoro how to cook.
Tomoro doesn't know how to cook.
Kyo keeps secrets from the rest of the members of Glowing Dawn. He tends to disappear once every two weeks or so.
This episode mentions the Five Stars cleaners. They have been cleaning up and leaving very little work for Glowing Dawn.
The Five Stars are five Digimon Owners at the top of the Cleaner world. The five elements of wood, fire, earth, gold, and water; they each have a codename based on the elements.
Kyo's dream is having a future where humans and Digimon coexist.
Digimon disappear when all of their e-Pulse is spent.
