~ 3 ~ Returns and a Change of Clothes (Note: I know there will be obsessive repeatedness in the clothing I describe, but I love that kind of shirt, and I think it really brings out the sexy side of Koichi and Koji! ^_^ )

“Here you go,” Korothi said sweetly, though her voice was strained, as she placed a drink before Ruaihar.

“Thanks,” Ruaihar grinned. She turned to Koichi, “So, where do you go to school?”

“Me? I live in Hokkaido now,” Koichi sputtered, blushing with the interest that Ruaihar seemed to show in him. Those golden eyes seemed to go right through him, as if she could see inside him.

“Hokkaido?” Korothi repeated. She had taken a seat next to Koji, who sat next to the window. “Ansradar, isn’t that were the next kendo tournament is?”

“Kendo?” Koji perked up, looking away from the window.

“Yeah,” Ansradar nodded. “Ruaihar and Korothi take kendo lessons, and I play soccer. Really, I’m like their personal manager since they never remember tournament dates. They’d never even compete if it wasn’t for me.”

“You keep thinking that,” Korothi snapped at Ansradar and went to idly drinking her soda.

“Hey, isn’t that the girl who was by the window when you were at lunch?” Ruaihar suddenly asked, pointing to a blonde girl standing in line.

“IZUMI!” Takuya screeched, grabbing Ansradar and positioning her so that he was as unnoticeable as possible.

“Who are the other two with her?” Ansradar looked over her shoulder at the cowering Takuya. He was shaking, a look of dread and total fear of his face.

“Uh?” he poked his head around her and sighed. “It’s Junpei and Tomoki.” He waved a hand, “Hey guys!”

The tall one, whom the three girls interpreted as Junpei, turned and waved back, “Takuya! Hey!” Junpei was in a higher grade, so he didn’t see the others that often, the same of Tomoki, who was in a lower one.

Tomoki ran over, bouncing up and down with a huge smile on his face, “Hey guys! Long time no see!” His eyes finally comprehended that Kotori, Ansradar and Ruaihar were there. “Oh, hi! My name’s Tomoki!” He extended his hand to the nearest person, Ruaihar.

Ruaihar smiled and shook it, “I’m Ruaihar. This is Ansradar and Kotori, and we’re all pleased to make your acquaintance.”

“I’m Junpei,” he said as he came up. “Nice to meet you. And she’s Izumi.” He pointed to the scowling blonde behind him. Kotori nodded in recognition.

She waved to a larger table, “Want to move? That should be big enough to seat us all.”

The suggestion was taken whole-heartedly, save for Izumi. As they seated themselves she literally tried to drag Kotori away from Koji, but, unfortunately, Kotori weighed more then she could drag so it failed. The conversation was light and flowing. Junpei and Tomoki soon warmed up to the three girls, and Izumi liked Ansradar and Ruaihar, but remained icy towards Kotori. Kotori merely took it in stride, either sassing her remarks her ignoring her entirely.

“Whoa!” Takuya gasped, looking at his watch. “I gotta go!”

Ansradar glanced at her watch, “Yeah, me too. I was supposed to be a home an hour ago, but I doubt they’ll care, at least, not enough to ground me to badly.” This was replied to by laughs as the group departed, Izumi latching onto Koji, throwing Kotori an icy glare. Kotori smiled, shrugged and the three walked the opposite direction.

“I don’t like that Kotori girl,” Izumi hissed.

“Why not?” Tomoki inquired. “They’re all pretty nice. I especially like Rua!” Rua was Tomoki’s nickname for Ruaihar.

“Yeah,” Izumi growled and walked the rest of the way in silence.

They were on elevator, heading down to the trains of the lower tracks. Takuya’s cell phone rang….

                The elevator sped up….

The letter flashed in Takuya’s mind….

“This is weird,” Izumi said as they looked around. Once more they were where all the Railmons were kept, and the elevators had already spit the out and gone back up, with no up button to take them home. “Why are we here?”

Takuya sighed and looked ashen faced at the floor, “We have to fight again.”

“What?” Koji asked, grabbing Takuya. “What do you mean?”

Koichi put a reassuring hand on his brother’s shoulder, “Koji…stop, not now. Let’s just figure out what to do.” Koji nodded and let Takuya go.

“I got a letter,” Takuya said, his voice grating harshly. “It said…it said the balance was not complete, that there were still three spirits left.” He dug in his pocket and handed it to Koichi, “They summoned us back…to fight.”

“This isn’t good,” Koichi said and handed the letter to Koji. “I thought we won when we beat Cherubimon, and he was hard. What will this thing be like?”

Koji ground the letter and stuffed it in a pocket. “I don’t know. Let’s just get this over with and head on out.”

“Good choice,” a red Railmon said in a nasal voice. “Come on, I’ll get you there. These other guys don’t go anywhere for awhile.”

“What do you think?” asked Izumi. “Should we trust him?”

“Yeah…remember last time?” Junpei shuddered. The last time he’d rode a Railmon without checking it out first, it had nearly swallowed him for lunch. Not his idea of a way to go.

“HEY!” a voice screamed. “What was that for? I did not choose to get on you and I would have gotten off on my own!”

“No…it couldn’t be…,” Izumi’s lip twitched as the mist cleared and a girl rose from it, shaking her head, which was full of silver hair laced with black.

“Takuya? Koji? Koichi?” a voice asked from the other side. They all turned and there was Ruaihar, looking around like a frightened kid at their first amusement park. Her hand was clenched near her mouth and each of her steps was small and uncertain.

Takuya found himself bowled over in the next second. As he looked for his assailant, he heard a low groan and looked up, where Ansradar was conveniently perched upon his chest, rubbing her head. “Ansradar?”

“Takuya?” she returned, blinking. She suddenly seemed to notice he was having trouble breathing, “Oh! Sorry!” She jumped off and helped him up, by now Korothi had joined them, rubbing her head with a hand on her hip, looking disgruntled.

“Uh, mind telling us where we are?” asked Korothi.

“Railmon Station,” Junpei offered and frowned. “We’ve been here before, but why are you here?”

“You expect us to know?” Ruaihar snapped at him, then sighed. “Oh well. Guess we’re stuck. There’s no way back up, and I don’t want to get on another elevator, thank you.”

Izumi’s lip was still twitching, “Let’s just get on one and get it over with!” She stomped towards to red Railmon.

The other followed, Takuya’s head cocked. “What is it?” He turned to Ansradar, her own head cocked. “Why are you looking at Izumi as if she’s an alien?”

“Something’s…different,” he finally said. “I just can’t put my finger on it.” He looked her up and down and then looked again at Izumi and his eyebrows went up. He looked at everyone else and then at himself. “Ack! We’ve changed clothes!”

It was true. The girls looked at each other. All of them, including Izumi, all had on the same type of outfit, just colored differently. The general part was that they had on turtleneck shirts, no sleeves, which were buttoned down to their midriffs, showing their belly buttons. They each had on black leather pants and black leather, high heel boots. Their hands were covered with silk gloves that came to wrap only around the middle finger, a belt wrapped around the top near their armpits to keep the gloves up.

“Neat. I totally love it!,” Izumi said as she looked at herself. She wore a green shirt lined with gold. On the left side where her heart would be, a pair of golden wings were sewn in, a small dot in their center where the wings made a small opening because they arched. Around her waist hung a chain where he Digivice was held along with an emerald imitation of the symbol sewn in her shirt. The gloves were also green.

“Not really my style, but it’ll do,” Korothi commented lightly. Her shirt was black lined with silver, the opposite of her hair. Over her heart was a crescent moon, something like a flame balanced on its bottom tip. Her gloves were black and a black and silver Digivice hung on a chain, along with a pure ebony imitation of her symbol.

Ruaihar said nothing, though Tomoki commented on how pretty she looked. Her shirt was silver lined with black, a start encircled by a curved spike ring over her heart. Her gloves were also silver and her Digivice was silver and black, a silver imitation of her symbol on the chain next to it.

“Man, my older sister would kill for this outfit,” Ansradar chuckled. Her outfit was white lined with black, the gloves the same color as the shirt. Over her heart was a sun, the longest of its tips (four in all) connected to the circle that encompassed it. Her Digivice was white and black and her imitation symbol was made of ivory.

The boys each had on a different outfit, though Koji and Koichi were closely related in their outfits’ designs. Koichi was dressed somewhat like the girls, only his turtleneck sleeveless had no buttons and it draped to his waist. Under it, sleeves like that of a sweater covered most of his hands. Both shirts were appropriately colored black. He wore blue jeans as well with blue, black, and white tennis shoes pocking out from underneath them. He wore a belt and from it hung his Digivice, and a black pearl symbol – a wolf’s head, eyes glowing bright red like drops of blood.

Koji wore a turtleneck sleeveless as well, though his fit much tighter to show of his abs. It was a really light gray color, a dark royal blue lining the sides of where the sleeves would really be. His pants were the same color as the shirt, and a black leather belt held them up. His tennis shoes were red and black now, plus he now had bracers on his arms, colored the same as his shirt. His Digivice hung on it along with a sapphire symbol – a wolf’s body circling something like an extravagant ‘Z’.

Takuya was dressed sort of punk like, not that he minded. He wore a red tank top tucked into tight fitting black jeans with brown boots. Around his right arm, near his wrist, two belts wrapped around him, just before leather gloves encompassed his hand, small holes open around his knuckles. A leather jacket was wrapped around his waist, his Digivice handing from one of the many belts stitched to it. A strange Western dragon like creature was circling a flame made of ruby was hanging from a silver cord around his neck.

Junpei was dressed in overalls and a yellow shirt under that. He felt his Digivice in one of his pockets, and he the weight of a chain in another. He looked down and hanging from that chain was a bird encircling a bolt of lightning, crafted of topaz. His shoes were the same as ever. Tomoki’s hair was no longer covered by his hat, which had vanished. He now wore cargo pants and a short-sleeved shirt colored ice blue, a darker ice blue shirt under that with long sleeves. His Digivice was nestled in a pocket and hanging around his neck was a diamond in the shape of a polar bear circling a snowflake. He felt the weight of tight fitting bracelets on his left arm too.

“This is too weird,” Tomoki said, looking up and down. He wagged his foot, now decked with a white and ice blue tennis shoe. “But I can’t say I hate it.”

“Me either,” Koji said, looking himself up and down. “I actually like this outfit. Shows off my figure.” Little did he know, Izumi was drooling on the inside.

“Well, come on! We need to go!” Izumi called. They all filed on after her, and Izumi couldn’t help but notice that Korothi had an excellent figure, which the outfit merely showed off. She turned away and took a seat as Railmon lurched out of the station.
