Picking up from last episode Wargreymon destroys MetalSeadramon, but not before Whamon is destroyed.
With MetalSeadramon gone, Spiral Mountain's ocean disappears... or as Izzy would say, "It's getting reconfigured.".
Elsewhere, Piedmon, Puppetmon, and Machinedramon are watching the digi-destined's every move.
Mimi has put together graves of their fallen friends. Ty and Matt get into another argument causing everyone to walk thru the forest in silence. Suddenly the path they're walking on speeds up like an out-of-control conveyer belt.
Next, they begin to disappear and re-appear. Puppetmon is manipulating the kids. He has made dolls of each of them. The poor digi-destined are forced to mimic any of the doll's movements.
When puppetmon gets bored, he decides to get a playmate, and T.K. fits the bill. Puppetmon appears, ties up Matt, and disappears with T.K.
Puppetmon plays a hide and seek game with T.K. at his mansion, but there's a deadly twist. If Puppetmon finds T.K., he will destroy him.
To keep the kids from his mansion, Puppetmon sends Kiwimon to attack them. Sora uses Birdramon to destroy Kiwimon, but Matt is furious because now there is no link to find T.K. Matt is out-of-control and so worried that he's fighting with everyone!
Luckily, T.K. tricks Puppetmon, and is able to get away.
Matt is still fighting when T.K. comes running up to them carrying all of Puppetmon's voodoo-like dolls. Everyone surrounds and praises him for his grown-up heroism.
Feeling isolated and un-needed, Matt slowly edges his way into the forest and away from everyone.
