TRANSFER

Live television cameras air the riot taking place outside the building that houses SPK headquarters. Mello is watching what is transpiring. Inside the building, an annoyed Near listens as Light tells him he should retreat, but the boy genius is not going to do that and tells the Japanese force to beware for Kira is among them. Once off the phone with Light, Near tells his team members to drop L's inheritance from the sky. Tons of money begins falling from above and causes quite a diversion. Even the greedy Demegawa desires the money. The commotion allows Near and his group to escape undetected disguised as part of the many police squat forces. Both Misa and Light were unable to spot them.

Hours later Near contacts the group. He continues to declare 2nd "L" is Kira causing increased suspicion among the Japanese Kira investigation team. He enforces that notion to the others that he was sited only after raising their suspicions of Light. Aizawa is totally suspicious and confused. He goes home for the night and contacts Near. He tells Near of the incident involving Light and Misa's captivity and the trick played by Chief Yagami. Hearing of the whole incident Near deduces that Light was the Chief's son.

That evening Light has a plan and contacts Misa. She is overjoyed about something saying that now she can be a normal woman.

The next day Aizawa admits that he called Near. He tells Light that he wants to prove that Light is not Kira. He wants to go search the apartment where Misa is staying. Nogi goes with him, also having suspicions. When the two get to the apartment, Misa (who is flimsily dressed) questions their intentions. They say that a bomb threat has arisen, and they must do a thorough search. Hours pass and they find nothing.....Nogi is told to stay and keep watch. (Cute scene just prior which explains just why Aizawa didn't stay and watch.)

Returning to Light and his group, Matsuda turns on the TV when it's time for that fat moron (Oooo...not very nice of me.), Demegawa, and his Kira's Realm show. During the show the unthinkable happens! Men dressed as priests claiming to be Kira followers begin to die. Demegawa watches in horror as one by one they die.......then it's his turn!!!

How clever! Misa's deathnote is given to a man who worships Kira. That man is Mikami Teru, and he is more than happy to do Kira's bidding. (Of course, you know that since Misa relinquished her note, she has no memory of it.) Uh oh....not another playing God!!

To be continued....
