INUYASHA EPISODES 61-65 BRIEF SUMMARIES

Kikyo and the Dark Priestess

Coming

Tsubaki's Unrelenting Evil Spell

Coming

The Red and White Priestesses

A defeated Tsubaki walks through the forest wondering what went wrong. As she approaches the very village where she had trained, Tsubaki is stopped by two young priestesses, Botan and Momigi. The Black Miko tells the girls she is targeted by a demon, and the unsuspecting girls offer to help her.

Back at Lady Kaede's dojo, Kagome can't sleep thinking of what had occurred to her. When morning finally comes, Lady Kaede explains that Tsubaki used to be a white magic user and a good person....why she had changed is unknown. Suddenly, Kagome feels the presence of the Shikon jewel. They all set out to find it.....even Kaede.

In Tsubaki's old training grounds, the young priestesses prepare to defeat the demon. Although they have been trained, this will be the first time they put their skills to use. At the same time Tsubaki is approaching a forbidden tower that holds a powerful oni (devil-like demon). It was once considered her master's treasure. Turbulent winds appear resulting in the appearance of Kagura. Kagura demands Tsubaki return the Shikon jewel to Naraku since the deal was not accomplished. Tsubaki insists...."With the Shikon jewel, she will carry out her promise!"

Inuyasha and the others are getting closer to the jewel when they are stopped by a barrier. Inuyasha and Shippo get a shock when the barrier reacts to them. Botan and Momigi come forward declaring Tsubaki as their sensei. This is confusing to everyone since the girls insist they are not black magic users. The priestesses are confused as well....not really wanting to hurt cute little Shippo or Kirara. Then Miroku tries to convince Botan and Momigi that they are friendly, but rubbing their butts is not a good way of going about it ... *SMACK*! (^_~)

When Inuyasha gets fed up, the priestesses retaliate with many Shikigami (small paper controlled pets). (This part is funny as the paper pets are really weak.) The Shikigami, however, was just a test to get a strand of hair from Inuyasha and Kagome. The girls use the strands to make a large, controlled chibi-looking Inuyasha and Kagome. Inuyasha and Kagome are not flattered by the appearance of their duplicates!

Back at the forbidden tower, Tsubaki is working her magic to open the gates. Kagura is getting impatient.

By the barrier, Inuyasha fights with his conjured imposter. At one point, Kagome thinks if the imposter is just like Inuyasha, then *sit* should work, but unfortunately, only the real Inuyasha lands on his face making it easy for the fake Inuyasha to stomp on him (ROTFLOL -for those who may not know, that means "rolling on the floor, laughing out loud!). Guess they couldn't copy everything. More hilarious fighting and interacting goes on until Inuyasha finally uses his powerful attack. It not only destroys the duplicates, but renders the two priestesses unconscious.

Miroku and Shippo stay behind with the girls, while Inuyasha and the others continue to go after Tsubaki. When they enter Tsubaki's former training grounds, Inuyasha is again delayed by a powerful barrier. He easily breaks through this one much to Lady Kaede's surprise. Inuyasha calls for Tsubaki to show herself, but the black miko does not answer. A deadly pink and black aura can be seen in the distance.
What will they face in the next episode? Watch and find out!

Giant Ogre of the Forbidden Tower

Picking up from last episode, Inuyasha is shouting for Tsubaki to show herself. Lady Kaede recalls 50 years ago when Tsubaki was in training. Then the elder woman realizes that this is the area where Tahou Towers holds an incredibly powerful demon. As the group heads towards the tower, many demons attack.....those demons are destroyed quite easily.

A distance away, the young priestesses are awakening. Miroku takes this opportunity (as usual) to ask if either will have his child? Their anger is short lived when Shippo returns with water. After Miroku explains what happened, the girls shower Shippo and Kirara with affection....the poor Monk feels a bit jealous.

Inuyasha and the others have reached Tahou Towers. To their surprise, the doors open, and they are faced with Kagura. Kagura coolly declares, "I'm only here to watch your deaths." When the wind sorceress steps aside, out comes a huge armored giant. While Inuyasha battles with the giant, Kagura is adding her own wind attacks (HEY! Weren't you supposed to be JUST watching??). That's when Sango, Kagome, and Lady Kaede join in the fight to stop Kagura. It isn't long before Inuyasha's Kaze no Kizu destroys the giant and sends Kagura flying off.

Inside the Tahou Tower, Tsubaki has unleashed the evil demon (oni). She entices him with more power with the help of the Shikon Jewel. The demon enters Tsubaki through her right eye. When Inuyasha and the others face her, she transforms into the huge, ugly demon. Miroku and the priestesses arrive just in time to watch the tower collapse.

(It's demon fighting time!!) Of course, Tsubaki (turned demon) wants to rule the world so Inuyasha must go to battle. When the kaze no kizu has no effect, Miroku opens his air void. That, too, has no effect. Even Kagome's arrows do little damage. The evil priestess is relishing the unlimited power of the Shikon jewel and tries to draw in Inuyasha's power as well. Inuyasha is angered to see Tsubaki corrupting the jewel, something Kikyo would never do. (To make a long story short, it all boils down to Tsubaki's jealousy when Kikyo was entrusted with the Shikon Jewel.)

More fighting....yada yada yada....then Inuyasha uses the bakoyouha sending the Tsubaki/demon's attack right back at her. The demon is destroyed and Tsubaki is sent flying to the ground. One of Naraku's poison bees snatches the Shikon jewel right from her eye. Sango destroys the bee, but the jewel falls into the hands of Kagura. Without the power of her monsters or the Shikon jewel, Tsubaki ages quickly. Eventually, her body disintegrates leaving only her clothing to remain on Earth.

Inuyasha and the others say their goodbyes to the young priestesses and head for home. Kikyo watches them from the shadows thinking how greed led to Tsubaki's eventual demise.

Farewell Days of My Youth!

A strong sense of doom encompasses the Feudal Era. Inuyasha and the others wait cautiously for the approaching demon. Suddenly, a huge centipede emerges from beneath the ground. What a surprise? Seems Miroku disposed of this demon without the use of his wind tunnel.

This incident happens to be witnessed by a large group of villagers. The village chief invites Miroku and the rest of the group to spend the day at their village in gratitude. At first Miroku declines, but then the chief mentions young women.....that made it an offer the young Monk could not refuse.

At the village, a delicious feast is prepared. While everyone is enjoying the food, Miroku is making his usual moves on the young women...that is...until one elderly women gets the best of him. Kagome enjoys the atmosphere of families enjoying dinner together. This causes Inuyasha to imagine himself and Sesshomaru having a meal together .... Not a good thought, sparks would be flying! A minute later an annoying Myoga joins everyone.

Late that evening, Miroku is awakened twice when trying to sleep. The first time, it's nothing more than a small child whose bladder needed to be emptied (ha, ha...that's a nice way of saying the kid had to pee ^_~). The next disturbance is Sango surprisingly attacking the Monk with her boomerang. With the eventual help of Inuyasha and Kagome, Sango awakens wondering what happened. They remember the chief mentioning strange things have been occurring to the villagers. The group sets off to see if that large centipede is at fault. All the while Myoga is acting unusual.

Inuyasha and company check on the centipede only to find that it remains exactly as they left it. Wait a minute! What's going on now? Miroku suddenly begins attacking Sango.......or is it Shippo.....or is it Kirara? When he stumbles and lands on his face, the Monk gains his senses. Just as everyone is trying to determine what's going on, another huge centipede emerges. Inuyasha destroys this one easily with his kaze no kizu. Afterwards....you can hear a familiar leaping noise, and now Inuyasha's mind has been taken over. When the young hanyou begins chasing Kirara, Sango notices that he is leaping like a flea (ah...ha!).

Kagome catches up to the now amorous Inuyasha (who appears to be making advances towards Shippo), and yells, "SIT". When he comes to HIS senses, Inuyasha opens his hand to find he had grabbed Myoga off of Shippo. Everyone is gathered around when an elderly female flea hops on the hanyou's hand as well. She introduces herself as Shyuga, the fiancé of Myoga. Shyuga explains how Myoga cheats on her yet she has waited for him all this time. Myoga begs to be released, but Inuyasha refuses and suggests a wedding ceremony instead.

Shyuga and Myoga ride on Kirara's head in preparation of their marriage.....Hey! That's not Myoga! That flirty flea has escaped again on the tail of a cat. Wonder if Shyuga will ever catch up to him????
