A Strange Invisible Demon Appears!

The Inuyasha group gather around the campfire preparing a very skimpy meal. Seems their money has run out. Of course, Shippo and Inuyasha have a little confrontation over who should get what. When the small fox demon loses out, Kagome generously gives Shippo her portion.

Meanwhile, not far off, villagers have enlisted the help of the old woman exorcist, Haraiya. What could be scaring the villagers like this?

The next day Inuyasha and the others approach the village, but no one seems to be needing help. Inuyasha wants to leave, but the others would like a bath, meal, and a warm bed. Just as Inuyasha questions how they are going to get money for that, Haraiya walks up to them. The group recalls when they first met this exorcist wannabe and quite honestly, can't believe that she has yet to retire. The old woman asks their help in solving the mystery of the demon who has been robbing the rich villagers and then making himself invisible to escape. Shippo guarantees his ability will solve this one.

The group divides into two teams each staying in a rich villager's dojo. To Sango's amazement, Haraiya and Shippo are able to combine their powers to make Shippo disappear for a short time. The power works on her as well. Shippo and Sango venture out into the city believing they are invisible...which they are, but it eventually wears off. Hilariously, Sango has no idea that Miroku can see her. He is flirting with two women until his guilt gets the best of him. Sango is shocked when he gets on his knees and begs for her forgiveness. She believed no one could see her.

Back at the dojo that Inuyasha's group is watching, Shippo is getting into mischief. Unbeknownst to him, his invisibility has worn off as well. (I laughed so much during this part!) Believing Inuyasha can't see him, Shippo taunts the hanyou using various means until Inuyasha gets pissed and smacks the small fox. However, Shippo believes that Inuyasha picked up his scent and still has no idea that he is no longer invisible.

That evening Shippo is left to guard the scrolls as the others look for clues. It isn't long before a man paper thin makes his way into the dojo Shippo is guarding. Once inside the man converts into his real blubbery self. He grabs the scrolls. Shippo does his best to stop him. When the demonist man gets angry, Shippo finally realizes that he is NOT invisible! He runs calling for Sango and the old exorcist's help. They can't believe this huge man was able to get past them until they see him turn paper thin. It looks as if he disappears when he turns sideways. Inuyasha shows up and is able to grab the demon thief.

"How?" the demon asks.
"You can't make your scent invisible," Inuyasha replies.

The demon begs for forgiveness. They tell him that he must return what he has stolen. The demon's cave is full of stolen goods, but he resolves to return them and not steal again.
Alls well that ends well!
