INUYASHA THE FINAL ACTSango's Feelings, Miroku's ResolveRiding in the clouds on Kirara, Kagome, Shippo and a dark-haired Inuyasha (there's a new moon) search for their other comrades. Inside a mansion not far from the others, Sango and Miroku are fighting a bone-collecting demon emitting a poisonous gas. Sango uses her Hiraikotsu (boomerang) to destroy the many bones and skulls before them. A large skull catches the Hiraikotsu in his mouth and begins to devour it! Miroku jumps into action with his wind tunnel. Luckily he is able to endure enough poison to retrieve the boomerang. The woman demon demands that they hand over the Hiraikotsu. It will help her sick father (the huge skull-looking thingie.. :p). (Seems the Hiraikotsu was formed from many different demon bones.) She sends thousands of skulls and bones after our two heroes trying to swallow them up. Miroku again must use his wind tunnel. He frees them but loses consciousness due to the pain of the poison. When the demon insists on having the Hiraikotsu or killing Miroku, Sango spreads a demon-slaying poison salve all over it and tosses it at the huge skull. The demon is destroyed, and Inuyasha arrives in time to take care of the remaining demons. Sadly, however, there isn't much left of Sango's Hiraikotsu. Luckily, Myoga shows up and suggests they see a demon sage known as the Master of Potions. They arrive at a waterfall made of alcohol. All around it are jugs and jugs filled with the intoxicating brew. Inside one of the jugs is a drunken old man....that's the Master of Potions?! The old man takes a liking to Sango. He puts the Hiraikotsu into one of the jugs and tells Sango that she must conquer the demons inside of the jug for it to be cured. Sango jumps into the jug and is surprised to find that she can easily breath in this liquid. Now she must face the souls of the demons used to create her boomerang. The only way for anyone to see how she is doing is to drink some of the alcohol, which is proven when the Master tosses Inuyasha into one of the jugs. The poor half demon is drunk, but he can tell that Sango may have difficulty. Outside, the drunk Master of Potions takes Miroku aside. He can see that the Monk is in great pain from the poison within his body. He offers him a poison potion that will eliminate any pain whenever he sucks in miasma or poison, however, it will not heal the wounds from the miasma. Miroku agrees to take the potion. He does not want to be a burden to Sango. A slightly recovered Inuyasha tells Kagome to stay put while he goes to see what they are discussing. When seeing what transpired between the two men, Inuyasha is against this idea. He knows that Miroku will now use his wind tunnel without hesitation. That will only quicken his death. Inside the jug, the demons want Sango to promise that she will not use the Hiraikotsu to save the human man. She cannot promise this even though her life is threatened. She tells them that she cannot live without him and begs them to help them both. Suddenly, they are able to sense Miroku's resolve and agree to fight by their side. The Hiraikotsu is cured and restored. The Master of Potions tells Miroku that all of his potions are connected, which is why the Hiraikotsu demons sensed what they did. A short time later, everyone thanks the Master....especially Sango. She is overjoyed but unaware of what transpired outside. Time is running out for the Gook Monk. Will he be saved or should we prepare for a tragic end? Don't miss the next exciting episode!
