INUYASHA THE FINAL ACT

Kohaku's Shard

Kagome's exams are finally over, and to celebrate, she decides to cook a feast for Inuyasha and her family. However, when Inuyasha destroys a cockroach using his wind scar, it looks like dinner is going to take longer than expected.

In the Feudal Era, Kohaku remains unconscious. Miroku is entertaining the children outside when the sky suddenly darkens. Thousands of demons are approaching the village! Both Sango and Miroku work to destroy the demons, until the good Monk realizes what the true objective of this attack was. He races to Lady Kaede's home, but it's too late. Magatsuhi has taken over Kohaku's body. The demons were just a distraction. Miroku tries to use his wind tunnel, but he is unable to absorb Magatsuhi. Unfortunately, he does take in evil poison. When Sango tries to intervene, she is again stabbed in the back by her possessed brother. Rin tries to stop them and is rendered unconscious by Magatsuhi's barrier. After all the turmoil, Kohaku (Magatsuhi) escapes with a barrage of demons.

Moments later, Inuyasha and Kagome arrive to find Kaede's home destroyed. Their very injured friends beg them to go after Kohaku. After her wounds are dressed, Sango puts on her demon slaying gear. She is determined to destroy Naraku to save both Miroku and her brother. She asks Lady Kaede if she can be alone with a sleeping Miroku before leaving. Sango kisses him and prays that he doesn't die before she returns.

Meanwhile, Sesshomaru has been tricked by Byakuya of the Dreams by using Magatsuhi's scent. Sesshomaru realizes what is going on a little too late.

It isn't long before Inuyasha is able to catch up to the possessed Kohaku, who is flying on one of the worm-like demons. Magatsuhi threatens to rip apart the boy's body if they try to stop him. He says the boy's soul is already broken. Seems that ever since the shard was defiled, the boy (in his unconscious state) has been reliving the day he killed his father and clan.

Sango arrives. "Kohaku, wake up! You must fight!" she says. Imagine Magatsuhi's surprise when Kohaku does indeed wake up. Seems some of Kikyo's light still exists in the shard. "Magatsuhi, are you ready for this?" Kohaku cries jumping. As he is falling, Magatsuhi is pushed out of the boy's body!

What will Magatsuhi do now? Can Kohaku be saved before falling to his death? To be Continued....!
