INUYASHA THE FINAL ACT

Into the Body of Naraku

After recapping events from 50 years ago, Naraku uses the defiled shikon jewel and transforms into a hideous, demonic spider. As he is transforming, Rin is absorbed into his body.

Back in present day, Kagome has found out that she was accepted into high school and is graduating with the rest of her middle school class. At the graduation ceremony, Hojo wants to present Kagome with the second button from his uniform, but she races off before he is able to detach it and tell her how he feels. Kagome was anxious to get back to the Feudal Era.

Meanwhile, Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha watch from the Village as a huge mushroom cloud forms in the distance attracting demons. When Kagome shows up, the group set off to destroy Naraku. Shippo is told to stay behind, and he is not pleased about that. Kohaku stays behind as well.

When they arrive at Naraku the spider's destination, they find Sesshomaru already there. The group are surprised to see the spider open up his body for them. Sesshomaru enters the spider without hesitation when Byakuya informs him that Rin is inside. That prompts Inuyasha and the others to enter as well. "Let's defeat Naraku," a determined Sango says to Miroku.
"OK, Sango," he replies, "Once this is over, let's get married."
"Yes," she answers smiling.

From inside the body, every swing of the tetsusaiga or attack from Sango's Hiraikotsu brings a release of poisonous miasma. Even so, Naraku is feeding on their hatred for him and creating incarnations of himself for them to fight. When the incarnations appear endless, Inuyasha prepares to use Meido Zangetsuha. That's when Naraku shows them an image of Rin walking around aimlessly. Inuyasha knows he cannot use the Meido attack or Rin, too, will be sent to the Netherworld.

Kagome says they must find the shikon jewel and destroy it in order to destroy Naraku. In doing so, they are separated from Miroku and Sango. As they get closer to the jewel, Inuyasha's body suddenly illuminates indicating his change into demon form. He turns and lashes out at Kagome injuring her arm. By getting closer to the defiled jewel, Inuyasha has changed into full demon form and is no longer in control of himself. Naraku offers Kagome an arrow coated in miasma, but she refuses to use it against Inuyasha. She teeters on a ledge inside Naraku's body. When demon Inuyasha swings his deadly claws at her, Kagome plummets downward.

This doesn't look good for poor Kagome. Where is Sesshomaru? The next episode should prove to be very exciting!
