On Dr. Suno's submarine, Team Core Tech are improving their Monsuno skills by practicing in virtual reality. Jeredy suggests that they all go into virtual reality together. He designed a tournament mode where everyone can compete as a team through individual battles. (See images for who was matched against who.) For the team to make it to the final level they need to win 3 out of 5 rounds. "Where you spin can make all the difference," Jeredy advises. This training exercise can help them with spin control, knowing your environment, and knowing your enemy.

Just as Team CoreTech are starting the tournament, Droog attacks from a satellite and hacks into the system. He sees that all fail safe devices are still in place and wants to build his own trigger device. This hack interrupted Beyal's fight with Drezz and basically resulted in his loss. Worse, however, the short caused a malfunction in the VR simulators, and shorted out some of the primary systems. If they try to unplug the kids, it could cause serious harm. If they can win the game, the system should reboot to the start menu. From there, Dr. Suno could get everyone safely out of the simulators.

With Jinja and Beyal's loss, everyone else must win their battle. Next up; Bren and Commander Trey. Neo Quickforce and Bren are victorious over Trey and Clipper. Now it's on to Dax and Tinker of Forge Resistance. Dax and Boost wipe the floor with Tinker and Rivetclaw ending their match in less than 60 seconds.

Last, but not least, Chase vs. Six. A tough fight, but BatterRam (Antler Tangle, Repeating Fire ) and Chase beat Six and Demise (Echo Cannon). On they go to round II. The game was designed to get a bit tougher. It's a boss round and only one of them can face them. "No discussion, guys," Chase says, "I got this."

In round II Chase must take on Dr. Klipse as well as Charlemagne. As far as Monsuno's go; Backslash and Driftblade take on Lock (is anyone surprised by this? Anyone? Anyone??) As you all know he would do, Chase easily defeats them both.

After a shaky exit from the game, all of team Core-Tech are fine in real-time. "What happened?" Chase asks. Dr. Suno isn't quite sure, but he does know that, whoever it was, they were looking for the location of all the fail safe devices. Chase knows the only reason someone would want that is to destroy all Monsuno's on the Planet!!

Below are a few quotes from the episode:

"Aww...I love it when you get your butt kicked," Bren to Jinja after she lost to Dom Pyro.
"Oh yea. How 'bout if I spread the love a little. Starting with you!" Jinja's angry response.

"We get it doc...training exercise...bla...bla...bla. Last one digital is a rotten ratbag," Dax with his cute Aussie slang.

"I wonder if they sell virtual hotdogs here?" Bren.

"They always told me video games could rot my brain, but I didn't think they could kill me," Bren. (Guess he hasn't seen Sword Art Online.)

"The book worm...ha! You really think you can beat a decorated soldier of S.T.O.R.M.?" Commander Trey.
"In a video game...Krag... Yeah!!" Bren.

"We aren't done yet, Commander Lame...oh no no no," Bren with confidence during their battle.

"Are you ready wee man? Destruction be our calling card..." Tinker just before commencing battle with Dax.
"Yeah...yeah...and lamebrain be your plans. Let's do this." Dax.

"Oh my. Six still has no hair!" Beyal. (I laughed out loud at that one.)
