The One and Only One; the story behind the crossed swords

{Chapter Two: The Uchiha Idiot}

As Chiisude rounded out the streets of Kohona, she started looking for Sasuke. She stopped at her house to drop off Rai on her little deck then started to look for Sasuke.

“Come out where ever you are, Uchiha Idiot!” Chiisude said taunting Sasuke. Sasuke was walking around the streets of Kohona as Chiisude kept on jumping around looking for him. Then she saw him going through an alley. She stopped right in front of him and changed her identity from Chiisude Yoritmoto to Da1nonly1 the ninja. She was in the moon's direct light and the shadow made it very mysterious.

“Despise me foolish little brother,” Chiisude said tautly.

“Stop it, Chiisude, I know that's you.” Sasuke flatly. Chiisude quickly made a clone who would walk by Sasuke.

“Hey Sasuke, what's up?” the clone said. Sasuke looked at the clone flatly as he looked at the real Chiisude who was posing to be Itachi.

“Stop playing mind games, Yoritmoto.” Sasuke said punching the clone.

“Ooh, I think that's the wrong answer...buzz!” Chiisude said jumping up and throwing fans that had Kunais inside. “Melliya Fan Ultimate attack!”

Sasuke waited until the fans were about a few meters away from him, then jumped back. “You missed, I thought you were the kid who could hit a target on the point,”

“Duh, you dumb Uchiha, that's TenTen...unless you don't remember 'cus your brain is the size as...oh let me guess...a grain of sand?” Chiisude said smiling. Sasuke ran past Chiisude and through the alley. He was dead ended by a wall of crates, he stuck out some paper bomb tags and blew them away leaving a cloud of smoke behind him.

“How stupid,” Chiisude snickered activating her sharigan. In the Yoritmoto Clan, ever since the beginning of the clan, every twenty five years, a person with the born power is rewarded with the sharigan. This had happened when the first Yoritmoto, Memori was born. Being blind, he was often teased that he would never become a ninja. Only one person cared, that person had a sharigan. She was on Memori's team and was killed on a mission. Her care for Memori caused her to give her eyes to him. That's all that Chiisude did learn, by the way, everything else wasn't told.

Chiisude went through the smoke with no problem and was fast on Sasuke's trail. She just wanted to have a simple fight with him, just to see if she was the same old Sasuke hating 13 year old. Soon, she would lose sight of Sasuke after turning one corner.

“Ugh, you just wanted to run away. I understand, so you can take your revenge on my brother, that's right, I heard you didn't kill Itachi yet, haven't you Sasuke? Well, that's what you did, but I'll swear on my parent's grave and my clan's grave, a dumb Uchiha like you will not kill my weak brother!” Chiisude shouted. Sasuke was on top of a building ledge, he was listening to every word Chiisude had said. He then left along with Chiisude.

Chiisude walked by herself back to her apartment by the west gate of Kohona. She always lived away from the other ninjas in her class, the only reason is her parent's grave is near her apartment and so is the Yoritmoto Compound. She hasn't been home since she left Kohona many times for her long-term missions. So the place was a little dusty but she had left the windows open before she left to find out who she was going on her mission. Rai was in its cage, but was now on the stand where it would stay. Before going to bed, she would have to do some chores around her house. One of them was feed or check Rai's birdseed, then check or refill its water tank. This time, since she had let Rai go around Kohona after being in the cage for about three years, the food was full and the water tank was half full. She looked inside of the cage to find the droppings on the bottom of the cage.

“What?! Sakura! You didn't clean the droppings? Ew...now I have to do it, oh well.” Chiisude sighed looking at the disgusting cage bottom. At least Ino was right about that filthy comment, Cherry Blossoms forgot to clean it, and I don't think she even touched it. Chiisude shook her head and took the bottom of the cage off. She put the cage off the stand and put it on the counter. Then she started to cough. Sakura!!!

“Cherry Blossoms is gonna pay for this,” Chiisude said turning her nose away from the sink where she was rinsing the cage.

It took a long time to get Chiisude back into bed and to rest. Another thing she had to do was pack her bag for tomorrow. She placed 10 of her shirts into her bag, some scrolls, a few more weapons, and a months supply of food. Then she plopped her self on to her bed. Tomorrow, I might see Silver-nee san again...great. I know that he killed everyone in the clan to teach me a lesson—never trust an Uchiha. Ha ha, I think Itachi did it to make Silver's killing of the clan look mild—what ever it is, its never trust an Uchiha. I know the real reason, stop it Chiisude Melliya Yoritmoto.

Sakura yawned as Chiisude was coming down to the bridge were she was sitting the other day. “Chiisude, why so early?” Sakura asked.

Chiisude scoffed. “I said 'dawn,' Sakura.”

Sakura looked at Chiisude in a weird way, “Really? My mother told me before dawn,”

Chiisude shook her head. “Sakura, you mom thought that?! I said dawn, ok?”

Just then, Sasuke came walking by as Chiisude looked back at Sakura.

“Chiisude, did you leave just to bug Sasuke-kun again?” Sakura said flatly.

“No. I didn't see him until 10 last night, then I bugged him.” Chiisude said, then turned into a soft whisper. “I nicked named him again, I called him Sharigan Loser, but I'm still sticking to the Uchiha Idiot,”

“CHIISUDE!!” Sakura snapped. “Cha! Cha! You will never say that again, Chiisude Yoritmoto! Cha! Cha!” Inner Sakura snapped inside.

“Good morning, Sasuke,” Sakura said politely after snapping Chiisude.

Sasuke just kept on walking until he reached the other side of Sakura. Chiisude looked around to not find Kakashi or Naruto.

“Hey where's Kakashi-sensei and Naruto?” Sakura asked.

“They're late again,” Sasuke said. “You know the drill for Kakashi-sensei.”

“The drill?” Chiisude said getting on top of the bridge's rails and sitting on it, facing the river.

“He's always late,” Sakura moaned. Chiisude looked out into the river noticing that there again, a morning fog. The sun wasn't even out yet and the damp, foggy weather was bothering Chiisude.

“I didn't see Naruto on my way out though,” Sasuke said.

“Yeah, you were too busy thinking about if I was going to beat you up again,” Chiisude scoffed turning away from Sasuke. “Dumb Uchiha.”

Sakura looked up in the sky to find a black bird flying again in the sky. It looked like Rai, so Sakura piped up. “Hey Chiisude, isn't that Rai?”

“By the way Sakura, you didn't clean Rai's filter, no wonder Ino said it was filthy.” Chiisude said looking up then gasping. “Guys, kill it, it's Dai, Silver's bird!”

Sasuke looked up into the sky looking at the black bird. It was circling and cawing annoyingly. It began to come down with its messenger bag behind. Chiisude stood up on the rails of the bridge and caught Dai coming down. She took off the bag then let Dai go, only to peck Chiisude's head.

“Get off of me you dumb bird!” Chiisude said whacking it. She opened the bag and the letter inside. It appeared to be a map. “Huh, a map.” I guess Silver-nee san wants to die fast...what a loser. Chiisude examined the map as Sasuke and Sakura were waiting for the late Kakashi and Naruto.

Almost 30 minutes into the waiting period, Kakashi and Naruto did not show up. The fog was starting to settle as Chiisude was lying on the bridge's rails, waiting for Kakashi and Naruto again.

“What's the hold up?” wined Chiisude look up at the cloudy sky.

“Get used to it, Yoritmoto,” Sasuke said. “Kakashi-sensei is always late,”

“Pft, Dumb Uchiha.”

“If I were you, Chey, I would give them an hour.” Sakura said.

Chiisude sighed as she just kept on looking at the sky. “Thirty Mins, max.”

The fog on the lake was starting to burn out when Naruto came rushing in yelling. “Here I am, Believe it! I said I was going to be the first one here and--”

“Naruto! Your late!” Sakura snapped at him. Hmm...When did he say that...stupid Naruto. If you are going to become the next Hokage, do something that will make you...Chiisude sighed. Not late.

Sakura and Naruto were fighting as Kakashi appeared behind Chiisude, walking on the lake.

“Hello guys!” he said waving. Chiisude turned around and her jaw dropped dead. Then fell into the river.

Naruto and Sakura pointed. “You're late! Again!” So was Naruto...duh.

“'Ey Kakashi-sensei!” Naruto yelled.

“Yes, Naruto?” Kakashi said in a cool matter. “By the way, there was a little old lady who dropped her things along my way, and I had to help her.”

          That is such a lie...

“I was here first! Believe it! I was here first!” Naruto said as Sakura hit him on his head.

“Yeah right, Naruto!” Sakura said. “Naruto, you make me sooo mad!!” Inner Sakura roared.

“FYI, Naruto, I was here first, da1nonly1, Chiisude Yoritmoto...” she said in a cool matter. Loser.

Kakashi jumped over the bridge and so did Chiisude. Kakashi noticed that Chiisude was holding something. “Chiisude-chan, what's that you're holding?” he asked kindly.

“This?” Chiisude said holding up the scroll. “Its a map of where Silver-nee san says where he is, but its kinda wet from when I fell into the river.” Chiisude opened the scroll to find that the message written in ink was gone but the map was still in its original form except for the ink that was written on it.

“Darn, the water washed off all of the ink on the map, only the path and the things around it are ok,” Chiisude said. “Ah, what the heck, let's go!”

Team 7 and Chiisude left the gates of Kohona and went out into the forests. The sun was already up and the heat was beating down on them by the time they got a few meters away, then started to speed away. Chiisude tucked the map in her back pocket as they continued on. Sakura noticed something about Chiisude and soon piped up about it. “Chiisude, are you going at your top speed?” Sakura said trailing behind her.

“Nah,” Chiisude smiled at Sakura widely. “If I went at my top speed I would already be half way there!” And I would leave you in the dust, ha. Beat those reflexes Sasuke. I'm as fast as light itself, a rating of oh...how about...20? What about you, Dumb Uchiha, you—only 10, half of me. Beat that!

“I can go faster than you, believe it!” Naruto said. Chiisude rolled her wide, blue eyes and stared at Naruto. “Yeah right Naruto, if you haven't noticed back in the academy days, why did everyone call me Cheetah Chiisude?”

“I can beat you, believe it, believe it, believe it!” Naruto said crossing his arms.

“Say 'believe it!' one more time and I'll rip your head off, Naruto Uzamaki!” Chiisude snapped. “They call me that because I was as fast as a Cheetah when I was in the academy...and guess what, now that I graduated two years before all of you, I'm even faster!”

“Stop rubbing it in, Yoritmoto...” Sasuke said looking away. Chiisude laughed and then pointed at Sasuke. “I could easily win in a race against you, Sasuke, even though you were the fastest and don't forget the brightest and the one who got the best grades back in the academy when I was still behind the Faces,”

“What is that supposed to mean, Yoritmoto?” Sasuke said looking at Chiisude in a serious way.

“It's that, when I was in the same academy, you were always the brightest and the one who got the best grades, I wasn't, but your name as the fastest?! Puh-leeze, I took that like taking an apple from a low branch.” Chiisude said. “But, forget about those academy days, now, people think I'm as fast as lightning, when actually I'm as fast as light itself!” Chiisude kept on going on her agility when Sasuke turned around and kicked her right in the face as she was coming. It had made Chiisude not talk for a while and trail along for the next minutes.

“Fine then, if you wanted me to shut up, you could have said so...SASUKE!!” Chiisude sneered. “Dammit.”

Another thing that Chiisude was mostly famous for besides her speed, and that she was from the third ranked Yoritmoto Clan, was the compulsive swearing that she has taken on from her cousin.

Chiisude was getting so slow that she was behind Kakashi and the rest was in front of her. Sasuke and Chiisude have been fighting since they met. It was the same time she met Sakura and Ino.

The Ninja Academy

After Chiisude had begged her mom not to go to school, she entered the Academy grounds as her mother went and talked to one of the teachers. A group of girls surrounded two boys. One was Sasuke another was Naruto. Chiisude was only six and little bit upset. Something crucial had happened only a few months ago, and it had hit her like lightning.

Naruto was being beaten up because of the challenge he gave to Sasuke. Sasuke was at the top of the class and popularity. What a loser, Chiisude thought as she walked and pushed her way into the center of the circle. This poor little kid is being beaten up by this stupid kid. Chiisude gasped as Sasuke turned around to see the Uchiha Clan symbol on the back of his shirt. A Uchiha? Hurting a poor little kid? If I kick his butt, this will get my street cred up when I'm a full fledged nin! Yes!

“C'mon Naruto, give it up.” Sasuke taunted. Naruto was having a hard time getting up. “Fine then, I won't battle you,” Sasuke left making the group of girls follow and push Chiisude.

“I—I—ugh, get off of me!” Chiisude started to say but then shouted at the girls. “I want to fight you!” she started to point vigorously.

All the girls who were talking before became silent, then started to laugh.

“No...I'm serious...” Chiisude said quietly then started to shout. “No! I'm serious!”

Sasuke turned his head and nodded. “Alright then, I'll show you who's boss around here,” Chiisude looked at him then started to get into a position where she would be able to fight. “You go first,” he said. Chiisude closed her eyes and shook her head. “You are going to regret this, boy,” Chiisude dashed quickly and appeared behind him, whacking him in the back of his head with her leg. He gasped and tried to grasp her leg, but she had already squatted down and started to trip him by swinging and switching her legs like a coffee grinder and tripped him. He fell down and a little green piece of ribbon started to fly in the air. Chiisude then realized that she wouldn't see. The green piece of ribbon was the head band that was holding up her bangs. But still, she could still fight and she eventually won over Sasuke because he didn't want to take no more.

For months and months, Chiisude would be standing up to Sasuke and trying to do something to get her 'street cred' up. She always remembered the way she fought Sasuke when she was only six years old.

The afternoon heat was beating down on Team 7 and Chiisude, she was starting to get a little bit faster after she was hit by Sasuke's foot. They found a spot near a river and said it was time to take a break as the sun went down. Team Seven left, but Chiisude stayed behind. She went down to the ground and looked for twigs and anything to start a fire. Then she went back to Team Seven.

“What took you so long, Chiisude?” Naruto asked as he was placing stones in a circle to make a fire pit.

“If it wasn't for me, this wouldn't be so great,” Chiisude said placing the twigs, brush, and logs into Naruto's fire pit. Kakashi was lying on his bag reading 'Make out Paradise' and Sakura was looking for something to light the fire. Chiisude sighed and took something out of her pocket. Sasuke turned around to the tree he was looking at as Chiisude light the fire.

“Now, don't tell anyone else about this,” she said smiling. Naruto got up and went by Sasuke. He passed him and soon went venturing off.

“The nerve of some people,” Chiisude sighed rolling her eyes. She got up and followed Naruto.

Naruto was sitting by a river bed as Chiisude came around. Sasuke followed as Naruto crouched down and looked into the water.

“There's a lot of fish in here, I'm going to get one,” he said grabbing his kunai in his pocket. Chiisude looked down as Naruto quickly jabbed his kunai into the water, missing the fish. She did hand signs to make streams of chakra flow past her fingertips. Then, treating the situation as serious, she gently stuck her chakra flow into the water.

“Here fishy, fishy, fishy...” she said as a fish went through her chakra flow. She jerked her hands and the fish was caught in her chakra net.

“Look Naruto, I caught one!” She dropped the net and swung her kunai, killing the fish. Sasuke, who was on the river bank too caught another one with his kunai. Chiisude glared at him. “Bring it on...”

Sasuke smiled as he took his kunai and shot another fish in the river. Chiisude just ignored him and put her chakra net back in, then she expanded it. Soon there were 4 fish in the net, she jerked and caught four fish. Then she killed it. Sasuke and Chiisude were fighting who could get the most fish, but they only ended up getting 8 fish in all. Some jumped away, some didn't, but Chiisude claimed she got 5 inside of the four that Sasuke told her.

“Stop cheating you Dumb Uchiha!” Chiisude snapped. Sasuke looked at her as Naruto left. “I'm not, stupid Yoritmoto...”

“Thats it!” Chiisude said jerking her hands and tripping Sasuke. “Its on Uchiha!”
