First, I did a little shifting around of my affiliates. If you've been visiting this site for a while, you know that Zoids was one of my favorite anime. I've been contacted by Vega informing me of the return of Dark Zoids, one of the best Zoids fansites there was. Now it is back, and I was thrilled to add it to my affiliates. Go visit Vega! Also, I'm sorry, but due to the demographics of AnimeAdmirers, I cannot affiliate with any site that contains hentai.

Next: Monsuno is coming to Nicktoons! Yep! Monsuno is what you'd call a Western and Japanese collaboration project that's packed with adventure and excitement. We can look for the premiere in February, which isn't far away. I've added this series to the site and look forward to bringing you images and other information when it begins broadcasting.

Lastly...we have a few licenses to announce. Funimation has acquired the ecchi comedy series, High School DxD. We can expect a DVD and Blu-ray Disc release sometime in the 2nd or 3rd Qtr of this year. In the meantime, you can watch the simulcast version on Mondays. And Sentai has picked up 2 more since my last update; the horror anime, "Another" as well as, the series "Listen to me Girls! I'm your Father!" We can expect a release of both these series later this year.

As we say our "Hello's" to 2012, we must say our goodbyes to anime DVD distribution by Bandai Entertainment. This comes as a great disappointment to me and many other fans of the Gundam franchise. According to the interview with Bandai President and CEO, Ken Iyadomi, all releases after February of 2012 have been cancelled. This includes the much anticipated Turn A Gundam, Nichijo, Gosick, and Gundam UC 3+. One piece of good news is that the Company will keep its current catalog in print and available until those licenses expire. (Might be a good idea to pick up what you're lacking at this time.) Sentai Filmworks (thankfully) is still charging along with another announcement. They've acquired the magical girl, Someday Dreamers anime series. You may recall this anime released by Geneon Entertainment back in 2003 (Wow….time flies!!!).

Quick announcement about Flint the Time Detective:  I've received many requests looking for the "Shadow" episode.  Seems that this particular episode is nowhere to be found.  I happen to have the episode recorded on VHS tape, however, the quality is extremely poor.  Not only that, but I haven't a clue how to transfer from tape to a format that can be viewed in any media player.  If anyone can give me any guidance (that won't cost me), please send an email.

On to the next subject:  If you're a Digimon fan and currently watching Digimon Xros Wars latest season, then you’re in for a real treat.  We've already seen the return of Nana and Zenjirou, but a character from the past will soon return.  And he is someone all Digimon fans will know!
