This is one movie I've been anxiously awaiting!!
Of course, the new Narnia and Indiana Jones look good as well. However, this live action Speed Racer film is near and dear to my heart! If you'd like to take a look at the amazing trailers, you can visit the Speed Racer Movie home site. The graphics are something to behold. Don't miss it!!

Another date that you'll want to mark on your calendar is April 5th. That is when Blue Dragon premieres on Cartoon Network. There are special sneak previews airing on March 28th at 11:30am and March 29th at 10:30pm. You can check out my "New From Japan" Spring 2007 area (upper left) in order to get an idea of what this series is all about. As I reported last time, the character designs are by the same people who created DragonBall and DragonBall Z. However, I believe the visual effects on the Blue Dragon series are a lot more detailed. Don't forget to tune in and check it out for yourself.

Even though it has the same character designs, will Blue Dragon take off like the Dragonball franchise did? We're about to find out. In a news article from ICv2 News, the anime, Blue Dragon is set to air sometime in May on Cartoon Network. This series has a fantasy/adventure genre where young protagonists defend themselves and their villages with the use of shadow monsters. Along with the Xbox 360 game, expect to see a long line of toys hitting the store shelves right around the time this series airs.
