Gareas has always been friendly and confident...even when he first entered GOA as candidate #37. He took care of anyone who was sick and was well liked by everyone. He prefers that everyone calls him Gare. As a candidate, Gareas had more skill than any other pilot. Only Ernest was aware of the paralyzing fear Gareas kept to himself.

Gareas was forced to become a pilot when his strong EX could no longer be restrained. As a Goddess pilot, his skills are second only to Teela. In battle, he has a tendency to act without thinking, which (as you will see) can result in tragedy.

Leena is a very dedicated repairer. She watches out for Gareas and works very hard at keeping the Eeva-Leena (Gareas' Goddess) in perfect working order. She can get overly excited in stressful situations, but for the most part, keeps her composure when needed.
