The Giant Verses Superman

The Destruction Army's greatest weapon has arrived. Saizuchi stands on the armored giant, Fuji, listing three reasons why Miss Kaoru and the others are about to meet their maker. First -- Kenshin is in the midst of his greatest battle....the odds of him showing up to save them are nil. Second -- Combat readiness - They have defeated the other Juppongatana, but have suffered major injuries. Third -- Fuji is a powerful force to be reckoned with.

Yahiko refuses to give up. Just as Fuji is about to strike the boy down, a mighty hero arrives. It's Seijuro Hiko!!! Hiko shouts for the giant to remove his armor for beneath it is a fine swordsman. Hiko recognized that Fuji was simply a gentle giant, misunderstood because of his size. Saizuchi had found him close to death when Fuji was mistaken for a monster. Fuji sheds his armor and cries tears of joy to be recognized as a human being. Seijuro Hiko declares they will now engage in a fair fight.

No one (except maybe Kenshin) can match the skill of Seijuro Hiko's Hiten Mitsurugi style, and Fuji is defeated. Hiko, Miss Kaoru, Yahiko, and the members of the Oniwaban group have defied the odds and defeated the attacking members of the Destruction Army.

Back at Shishio's lair, Mr. Houji is outraged when he learns his Juppongatana have been defeated. Sojiro simply laughs and prepares himself for his match with Kenshin. At the same time, Ms. Yumi is taking Kenshin and Sanosuke to their next door. Kenshin stops suddenly....he senses that Miss Kaoru and the others are alright. He feels relief and continues to the door that opens to one of the most difficult confrontations yet!!!

Hiten Verses Shukuchi

Kenshin enters "The Room Without Space" and stands face-to-face with the grinning, confident Sojiro. The boy uses Shukuchi, a speed so fast its not registered by the human eye. He is even faster and more skilled than Kenshin. Worse yet, Sojiro lacks emotion making it impossible for Kenshin to predict his next move. Sojiro doesn't initially use his full potential, yet he becomes a bit disillusioned when he misses a chance to finish the Battousai off. For a boy with no emotion....the idea of Kenshin showing mercy to others is swimming in confusion within his brain. (Recall that Shishio has ingrained the idea that..."If you're strong, you live...if you're weak, you die.")

Feeling strongly that Kenshin is wrong for showing mercy, Sojiro's attacks have become less precise. The boy prepares for his fastest final attack when.....the strap breaks on his shoe.....(Sorry gang....gotta wait till the next episode...or the next...to see the results of this battle.)
