One day several years ago, (when Shozo was just a boy) he was severely beaten by a gang of youths. He was rescued and taken care of for two months by Shougo and Magdaria. They became his Gods, and Shozo is prepared to give his life for them. Currently, he travels as Magdaria's body guard, however, he silently dreams of being more to her than just that.

Shozo has mastered a fighting technique called Karyu. This technique uses air pressure to cut through his opponent. Shozo thought that he was the only one who could perform this technique until Sano copied his moves in one of their encounters. Even though Shozo shows great strength, the thought of taking lives frightens him. His years spent with Magdaria have taught him that life is precious.
