It's coming!

Asuka Tachibana

Tachibana and Kazuma are trapped in the underground, cavernous area they fell into. After a little scuffle, the two put aside their differences in an effort to find their way out. Unbeknownst to them, Commander Zigmar is using Elian to watch their every move. Even Ryuho (yep, he's fine in this episode) and Sheris are unaware of their Commander's doings, however, they were startled to learn the Tachibana had been discharged from Holy. The two are ordered to question the new prisoners.

As they are making their way out, Tachibana asks why Kazuma doesn't join Holy? That way...there wouldn't be any worries about what would appear on the dinner table.  Kazuma held to his convictions...feeling that to join Holy would make him the same as everyone else....where is one's individuality? Suddenly, the two are attacked by a strange but ferocious looking creature. Tachibana wants to find an exit, but Kazuma won't run away from a fight. At one point, it appears that Tachibana has left when Kazuma needed him the most, but in the end the two fight together as one defeating the alter and finding that it's true form is a cute but wild animal. Tachibana is surprised to see it's just a small creature. That's when Kazuma informs him of the Alter Forest.

Once they find their way out of captivity, Kazuma and Tachibana resume their one-on-one battle. It's eternity eight versus Kazuma's shockwave of the last bullet. In the end, it is Kazuma who comes out victorious. The battle, however, has made Tachibana review his life and make new decisions. The two bid each other goodbye.

Upon returning to the area where it all started, Kazuma finds a severely battered Kimishima. Seems he was able to rescue the two young boys (Hiroomi and Masaomi), but their other Alter-using friends were captured and taken by Holy. Kimishima hands his friend money, begs him to help the others, and then collapses from the severity of his injuries.

What will become of Ayase and the others? Find out more in the next exciting episode.

Mad Script

Kanami delicately places a warm compress on a badly injured Kimishima's head. Kazuma watches, but anger is quickly taking over as he thinks about Holy and his missing comrades. He tells Kanami to watch over Kimishima....he knows what he must do!

Several Alter members of Holy (including Ryuho) are discussing the Native Alter who got away...when....."speak of the devil." To their surprise, Kazuma walks in saying that he wants to join their organization. Everyone is against it until Commander Zigmar insists that there WILL be an "enlistment."

In the privacy of Commander Zigmar's office, Ryuho questions Kazuma's enlistment. Truth is...the Commander believes that Kazuma may become a strong ally if he can be brainwashed into believing that Holy is the greatest thing that ever happened to him, and the way that can happen is under the influence of Unkei's alter ability. Unkei's alter, known as the "mad script," alters any users' intention, making them a character entry in his story. The Commander's plan is to keep up this little charade until Kazuma begins to feel a longing to become a member from the bottom of his heart.

It isn't long before Unkei's story unfolds with the members of Holy welcoming Kazuma with open arms. Mimori is given the task of showing Kazuma around the city. It is truly an enjoyable day involving new clothes, amusement parks, and fine dining at a lavish restaurant. All the while, Ryuho and Sheris are in the shadows watching every move. The next day there is a welcoming party and everyone except Ryuho is enjoying themselves. Unkei is not pleased that Ryuho is tarnishing his story. However, as everyday becomes more enjoyable, Kazuma (little by little) is forgetting his reasons for joining Holy in the first place.

Another day passes and the Commander meets with Ryuho. He discusses his duty to send the Native Alters that were captured to the mainland laboratory. He asks Ryuho to act as an escort. Of course, Ryuho will do whatever the Commander asks. At the very same time a fictitious Ryuho challenges Kazuma to a fight only the rules will not allow the use of their alters. When their fighting ends with Ryuho admitting defeat and welcoming Kazuma to Holy, the confused Native Alter User starts to recall his true purpose for coming to Holy. He finally realizes something is not right and engages his alter to burst apart the phony arena. He comes face-to-face with Unkei, who is surprised that this man could break out of his script. Kazuma learns that his captive comrades are in a plane about to take off for the mainland. He races to the runway to stop their exit. Unfortunately, Ryuho makes it impossible for Kazuma. Unable to reach the plane, Unkei's scenario has ended in tragedy for poor Kazuma.

Later that day, Ryuho apologizes to the Commander because Kazuma has escaped once again. However, now the Commander realizes that Kazuma is a true threat to Holy. Ryuho happily volunteers to apprehend him. The Commander walks away giving Ryuho an even more difficult task.....tell Unkei that Holy is made only of achievements. (Does that mean...buy...buy...Unkei?)

What do you think? Will Ryuho crush Kazuma? Find out next time on S-CRY-ED!
