Clash of the HyperWarriors

Resuming from last episode, Gyasa has called upon the serpent Gods to give him the reptilian power so he may crush enemies into dust. Snakes from everywhere converge on Gyasa giving him their venomous power. Mushrambo simply gloats when Gyasa Hyper forms using the cards of hundreds of deadly snakes. A distant voice is heard wondering if Mushrambo will have the power to defeat Hyper Gyasa.

Before their confrontation commences, Mushrambo promises to make Hyper Gyasa pay for hurting a defenseless girl. Then the two charge at one another. In hyper form, Gyasa's power has definitely increased. The evil enterran uses hyper viper power and his spinning snake disc to administer crushing blows. The spinning snake disc is so powerful that it can cut through mountainous rock, but yet....Mushrambo is able to break through it to give his own counter attack. Mushrambo's attack sends Hyper Gyasa flying off in another direction.

With Gyasa gone, Mushrambo continues his search for Yakumo in the neutralized water (recall that Hakuba was working on neutralizing the acid water in the last episode). The search comes to a halt when Hyper Gyasa shows up and uses his reptilian water blast. The two end up in the Jungle continuing an explosive battle. Gyasa hits Mushrambo with crushing blow after crushing blow. Not only that, but the evil reptile is able to rebound Mushrambo's attacks. Thus, it is as if Mushrambo is defeating himself.

Meanwhile Hakuba and the kittens have located Yakumo's solidified body in the mountainous regions surrounding the jungle. The explosions and rock slides are making it hard for them to get to her.

Not far off, attack after attack has finally immobilized Mushrambo. Hyper Gyasa then uses his Viper canon to finish the job. When the smoke clears, Mushrambo lay unconscious. Voices of Kutal and Sago echo in his head. An internal Mushra moans how he just wants to rest and doesn't want to hurt anymore. Kutal and Sago beg him to find the way back to the light...don't give in to the darkness.

Hyper Gyasa brings a restored Yakumo to see the humiliated defeat of Mushrambo. The reptile sends her down to have a closer look. Yakumo holds the battered Mushrambo and cries knowing he was hurt protecting her. Her tears warm Mushrambo's cheek. Internally, Mushra, Sago, and Kutal feel her love and kindness towards them. Just as Hyper Gyasa flies down to use his final poison viper power, Mushrambo quickens to his feet to protect Yakumo and continue the battle. Hakuba and the kittens arrive, and they watch the ongoing confrontation between the two powerful enterrans.

Mushrambo battles with a new surge of energy. He tells Hyper Gyasa that with each attack he's been testing the reptile's defenses searching for the angle of attack that would defeat him. The evil enterran knows Mushrambo is right and emits a beam of mind control before Mushrambo can attack at that very angle. The mind control takes effect making Sago and Kutal feel things are hopeless. Luckily, Mushra's belief in Yakumo breaks him free of Gyasa's control. Mushrambo is able to attack at the right angle and defeat Hyper Gyasa. Our hero is left standing amidst hundreds of raining serpent cards.

A short time later, our four friends and the kittens resume their journey to Shinzo. Mushra, Sago, and Kutal are discussing their feelings regarding the creation and power of Mushrambo. Yakumo thanks them all for being her friends and protecting her.

In a distant castle, a boyish looking man with reptilian green eyes watches Gyasa's defeat. He thinks, "Gyasa was Prince of the reptiles. If he couldn't win, then Mushrambo will be a challenge...even for me."
