Episodes 6 - 10 Summaries

Battling Daku

Continuing from last episode, Mushra, Sago and Kutal have been surrounded. All want to fight until they see King Daku's power, then it seems as if Sago and Kutal willingly submit to Daku's power. Mushra unwillingly submits. Once the three are strung up inside the castle, Sago admits that it was a strategy to get them in the door. Uh oh, bad move....in walks Dr. Parasite who calls himself the Minister of Indoctrination. He unleashes hundreds of icky maggots meant to crawl into the ears of our heroes and feast on their brains so they are submissive to King Daku.

In another section of the castle, an imprisoned Yakumo is told that she has until dawn to live. King Daku then proceeds to recall the time he had faced Yakumo in the past. He mentions how they had discovered her father's lab after the human/enterran war. Luckily, Yakumo's fathers defenses were crude but effective. As they are talking, in walks Kiri. "All is ready for the annihilation of the human," she says. Yakumo is shocked to discover that the pretty child was actually a short, skinny enterran called Katai. Seems Katai has the ability to take any form. Yakumo falls to her knees crying when they tell her Shinzo no longer exists, and she is the last surviving human.

Returning to Mushra and the others, we find Hakuba has crashed through the wall rescuing them. They escape with a plan that sends Mushra to rescue the girls while Sago and Kutal create a diversion. When news of their escape reaches King Daku, Katai says "leave it to me" and transforms into an exact duplicate of Yakumo. At the same time Sago and Kutal are running through the halls of the castle. Sago comes upon barrels of oil and unknowingly causes a huge spill. Then the "always cooking at the most inappropriate times" Kutal causes a huge explosion and fire. During all this commotion, Mushra has come across the fake, imprisoned Yakumo. He releases her, but she leads him in the wrong direction.

Meanwhile, outside the castle, Yakumo has been bound to a stake that is perched upon a platform. A fire is lit beneath her. "This can't be the end," she thinks. Suddenly, a huge explosion causes the platform to collapse. Yakumo screams for help as the ground begins to crumble. Mushra arrives to help, but is confused when the fake Yakumo screams from another section of crumbling ground. Just who is the imposter? Mushra must make a choice. Led by Yakumo's heart, Mushra makes the right decision.

A few seconds later, Sago and Kutal arrive just in time to help fight Katai who has hyper formed. When King Daku joins the fray, Mushra, Sago and Kutal all go into hyper mode. Not to be outdone, King Daku hyper forms as well. The resulting battle is vicious with each using their most powerful attacks. It's nearly the end for King Daku when the ground disintegrates beneath him. He is able to grab hold of Katai, who is clinging to the ledge. The King cards Katai and absorbs his powers.

Hyper Mushra and the others stand outside the smoke and flame that was once Daku's castle. A figure emerges from the smoke. It's King Daku, and he is using invisibility thanks to Katai's card. Hyper Sago and Kutal take a beating, but Hyper Mushra is eventually able to sense the evil enterran's presence and card him.

Once everything is over, Yakumo puts Daku's card into Hakuba. It allowed them to enter a spatial cell core portal. A path that may lead them to Shinzo.

The next scene shows them arriving in a jungle. Everyone agrees that it's time to campout. Will this prove to be a deadly decision? Find out next time on Shinzo!!
