Highlights:
A young awkward boy (Hijike) runs up to Team Freedom and admires their Zoids.
It just so happens that Arashi and the others aren't feeling very good so he helps them out.
Seems Hijike left his village a few years ago to become a Zoid Hunter, but to this day, he hasn't found his Zoid partner.
To help impress the boy's family, Liger (with Arashi's permission) lets Hijike ride him into the village. Not long after arriving, Death Metal wreak havoc! When Hijike is almost injured helping to protect the village, his father proves his love for his son.
Death Metal are run off by Team Freedom. A little while later they are thanked by Hijike's parents as they leave the village.
NOTE: Next week should be interesting. The preview indicates that Penne may betray her fellow Team Freedom comrades.
