Highlights:

In the Underground Chapel, Historia and her father approach the shackled Eren. When they place their hands on his back, Eren sees vivid memories, but they are not all his.

Historia begins to remember the kind young women who use to visit her often and taught her to read. It was her half-sister, Frieda Reiss. Just before Frieda would leave, she would erase her visit from Historia's memory. When Historia expressed a desire to see her sister, Mr. Reiss tells her about the incident that happened 5 years ago where Eren's father, Grisha Jaeger, wiped out his wife and 5 children. Grisha had the power of the titan, but his goal was to steal the power the Reiss family possessed. It was the power of the titans residing in Frieda. She was eaten, and he stole the power

Commander Erwin is informed that the Reiss family must be able to alter people's memories as it suits them. Certain bloodlines, including theirs, are immune to the effects.< /p>

Erwin and his troops set off on their mission; to recover Eren and Historia!

A flashback of Kenny the Ripper shows him visiting his dying Grandfather. The Ackermann's use to be a family of warriors protecting the King. "What happened," he asked. His Grandfather tells him that the King passes down the power of the Titans from generation to generation. It is an immense power that can alter all of humanity's memories and make them entirely forget the past...except for a few noble bloodlines. Among them, there were two groups that turned their back on the King. That is, the Oriental clan and the Ackermann family. The Royal Family fear the Ackermann's, because they can't control them.

Levi, Hange, and the others arrive at the Underground Chapel, but once they try to enter the Chapel, they have an ambush awaiting them!
