Every anime has one of them. The quiet, more subdued, angst character. In Bakugan that character would be Shun. At least he started out that way. However, as the series progresses Shun becomes a pivotal member of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers' team.

Both Shun and Dan created the rules to the Bakugan game. Shun became so skilled at the game that he was ranked #1 for a time. Not too long after, there was a brief period when Shun didn't play the game, because he wanted to please his Grandfather. That changed when his critically ill mother gave him Skyress. Skyress is a Bakugan of the attribute Ventus (wind). The two of them make a very powerful team.
