Before the battle, Lantz mocks Bird, bringing up how he once intentionally let him win in the past, looking down on him with contempt. But Bird declares that he'll never lose to someone who disrespects Beyblades, boldly throwing down the gauntlet.
Though Lantz's strength is on a whole different level, Bird challenges him with a shocking and unexpected strategy that no one could have predicted!
