Boruto, Shikadai, and Mitsuki have been skipping classes to look for individuals who may have been possessed by the purple aura.
The next day, after a visit with Hinata, Shino informs the students that they will be getting workplace experience. Boruto, Shikadai, and Mitsuki decide that the Post Office is the best place to work if they want to be able to keep an eye on the village.
Elsewhere, there's been another attack and Sai is investigating. After hearing about it, the boys quickly and irresponsibly deliver their mail and race to the scene. Boruto was frustrated that he arrived too late to detect the culprit.
The next day, the Post Office is in an uproar. Customers are complaining they didn't receive their mail including Cho-Cho, who is missing her special chips. The boys are reprimanded and sent to do menial work. While doing so, they hear of another attack, and it took place where class rep and her friends were working. They race to the location...hoping they are not too late!
