Episode 31: Boruto and Kagura

In the dense fog, a grinning Shizuma watches while Kagura and Boruto engage in a battle of wits and strength. Kagura wields the Hiramekarei with determination.

"What happened to the guy who played Shinobi Bout with us?" Boruto asks.

Kagura is having serious doubts, when Shizuma reinforces his hold on the boy. "You are Yagura's grandson, and a killer. This scar is proof of that. A fate stained in blood cannot be reversed!"

Boruto insists he's wrong, but Shizuma used another strategy saying that their Mizukage assassinated anyone who got in his way. Mitsuki arrives with a scroll that proves it is Shizuma who has been eliminating people who got in his way and NOT Chojuro. Kagura is stunned and realizes that he has been used.

Mitsuki asks SHizuma why he wants war so much. "Because It's fun! What else?" he responds, "Think about it. Guys who were friends until just yesterday, turn on each other in an instant and start killing. Isn't that wonderful?"

Mitsuki and Boruto begin fighting with Shizuma and his Samehada, which whittles away at each of the boy's chakra. Mitsuki is wounded, but manages to help Boruto with his Wind style: Gale Palm!! He's down but not for long. Shizuma slowly get's up and is angrier than ever. He attacks Boruto, but is blocked by Kagura. Now he is furious, but Samehada goes on a rampage and swollows him up.

Lord Chojuro arrives apologizing for his delay as he had been evacuating everyone. The Samehada-Shizuma is attacking. Kagura asks to handle, "I can't change the past, but I want to help create our future. When Kagura's chakra begins to drain, Boruto joins him and the two defeat Shizuma.

Before Boruto can catch his breath Sarada and Iwabe arrive in a frenzied hurry. They don't want to be late for roll call!
