Beautiful Euphemia is Britannia’s third princess and Lelouch's half-sister. She is gentle, kind, and genuinely concerned with the well-being of all citizens and not just Brittanians. She is loved and adored by most who come in contact with her including her sister, Cornelia, and both Suzaku and Nina.

Euphemia meets Suzaku in episode 5. She was drawn to him because she felt they have something in common….the death of her brother and the death of his father. Their mutual respect and friendship grow and eventually she appoints him as her personal Knight.

Poor Princess Euphemia met her demise when, quite by accident, she comes under the control of Zero's GEASS. This happened just when she was about to give the Japanese people back their name and their country. A day of anticipated happiness turned into horror and death when Euphemia began ordering the killing of all Japanese people. The Princess became out of control and even piloted a Gloucester killing many people herself. Unfortunately, Zero is forced to shoot the Princess to stop her. She later dies from her injuries unaware of the events that transpired.

It's sad and ironic that sweet, gentle Euphemia became known as the Massacre Princess.
