I'm sure not everyone will agree, but I consider Nina one of the most annoying and unstable characters of the Code Geass series. In the 1st Season, she's the shy and timid member of the student council at Ashford Academy. She is also very brilliant. During a hostage incident at Lake Kawaguchi, Nina comes in contact with Princess Euphemia. Nina becomes obsessed with the beautiful third princess. When Euphemia is killed at the hands of Zero, Nina becomes an emotional wreak. She very nearly destroys all of Tokyo by setting off a nuclear reactor within a Knightmare Frame. Thank goodness, it failed to detonate. In Season II, Schneizel hires her a chief of his In Vogue research team. There, she creates a nuclear bomb, codenamed F.L.E.I.J.A., that she hopes will eliminate all of the Black Knights. When her monstrous weapon kills over 35 million, Nina works on and completes a countermeasure to F.L.E.I.J.A. In the ending episodes of Season II, Nina appears to be a prisoner. However, that must not last as she is seen in a picture in the final credits attending Viletta and Ohgi's wedding. |
