Something is happening to Hiro's sense of time? He finds himself late even though his watch and/or clock says something different. It's been so bad, he's been losing sleep.
Hiro meets with Ruli. She invites Hiro to a library in the suburbs as a distraction. Kiyoshiro, and Jellymon join them. Turns out that many believe this library is haunted.
The library was not haunted. It was just the knowledgeable Digimon, Bokomon, and his assistant, Bakumon/Tapirmon, who have come to the human world. They are able to provide Hiro with information on digimon materialization and the Digital World. Hiro is so immersed in conversation and questions, he didn't know the others left to get a bite.
Hiro left alone, which gave Clockmon the chance to incite his revenge on the young boy. Thankfully, Hiro uses his digivice to enter digital space. This alerts the others. Bakumon arrives first just as Hiro is about to be struck.
When Hiro is about to be struck again, Gammamon is engulfed in black, and reflects Clockmon's chrono breaker back at him. This causes Clockmon's time to move forward quickly.
Clockmon begs for help, and Hiro wants to save him so Gammamon evolves to Betelgammamon. He is told to spin the clock hand the other way. Betelgammamon essentially performs CPR on Clockmon by using sorblow. This corrects the clock hand, and materializes Clockmon.
Clockmon says he won't go around attacking people after meeting people like Hiro. Professor Bokomon says they will begin invisibility training tomorrow.
Hiro wonders what that black cloud was surrounding Gammamon.
