Kiyoshiro has brought Hiro and Ruli to the Shiraodake Geothermal Power Plant where he was needed to do system maintenance. Turns out Kiyoshiro was put in charge of a few things including the plant's development program when it was being built. Hiro was really impressed, but Ruli...not so much. She goes outside to build a huge snowman, which she hopes to upload to Lirurun.
Outside, something ominous detected an unnatural heat source. It is Frozomon, and he's sending Glaciate missiles, as well as, snow onto the plant with the intention of eliminating the heat source. When Kiyoshiro tells him to stop, this angers Frozomon even more.
The temperature begins to plummet in the plant. Hiro has Gammamon evolve to Betelgammamon to see if he can withstand the cold better. Jellymon evolves as well. Hiro tries a sandy digital World, but it was just as cold. Ruli has come in, but can't remember where the control room was. Frozomon breaks in and chases her. Kiyoshiro leads her to a door out. When the boys try to escape as well, Frozomon attacks. Their only alternative is to go back to the control room.
It's -25 degrees and even Angoramon can't warm them up anymore. Kiyoshiro tries one last effort, but Frozomon goes outside to pour more snow and ice on the plant. Hiro, Gammamon, and Angoramon have lost consciousness. Teslajellymon is ok. She's been using her electric shock to warm up. Kiyoshiro asks her to save Ruli just before passing out himself.
Outside, Frozomon is about to attack Ruli when Teslajellymon stops him. She tells a shocked Ruli that it is up to them. Ruli commands Teslajellymon with "Vorsprite, removal blow!!" She then repeats "Physalist" until Teslajellymon knocks Frozomon on his back. Suddenly, small digimon surround Frozomon begging Teslajellymon to stop bullying Captain Frozomon (Seriously? That's like telling the victim's families to stop bullying a serial killer??). Ruli asks for their help for her friends.
A short time later everyone is warming up by a campfire. Kiyoshiro learns Frozomon was looking for somewhere cold. He agrees to turn off the generator to let them pass by. Thank goodness...all's well that ends well (except who's going to pay for the damages????)
