Highlights:
A series of incidents are taking place where normally friendly Digimon are attacking humans. Clockmon is trying to capture them before tragedy strikes.
At Hazakura dorms, Jellymon has just returned, but something is not right. When she attacks Kiyoshiro, he escapes to Hiro's room. Gammamon keeps her from attacking both boys. She disappears through the walls.
Clockmon asks the Hiro and the others for help in order to stop the series of violence. However, Gammamon, Angoramon, and Jellymon, also, go crazy and disappear after attacking their human partners.
Hiro and friends visit Mummymon, suspecting that it may be some kind of illness. Not long after, Clockmon, who was watching over the city at night, noticed a suspicious red mist drifting from a communication device.
Back at the dorms, Gammamon appears and attempts to attack Hiro. Luckily, Hiro noticed pepper seemed to effect the small Digimon. Hiro stuffed all the spicy food he had down Gammamon's throat, which made him return to normal with no recollection of what had happened.
Kiyoshiro and Hiro put their heads together and deduce that the signal must be coming from a satellite. Gammamon transformed into Wezengammamon to shoot down the satellite. Ruli and Clockmon hold off the infected Angoramon and Jellymon while Kiyoshiro uses his computer to get the correct trajectory.
Turns out that Morphomon had been captured by a human while playing online. He was calling for help using a signal that would attract the most Digimon, however, that call for help ended up making Digimon hostile towards humans.
Once Morphomon was released and the satellite was destroyed, the infected Digimon went back to normal.
