Beautiful brides wearing a white wedding gown are mysteriously infected by spores that cause mushrooms to urupt from their bodies. They are then kidnapped.
Hiro and Ruli are at a wedding venue helping out Ruli's friend Akane. After the event, Ruli is approached and asked to model a wedding dress for the venue's brochure. She excitedly says yes!
After putting on the wedding dress, Ruli admires herself in the mirror. Suddenly, spores fill the room. Those that touch Ruli infect her body and mushrooms begin to pop out of her skin. Angoramon senses Ruli is in danger, but when he gets to the room, she is gone.
Hiro contacts Kiyoshiro who investigates. He informs Hiro of the disappearing brides. Hiro makes sure to guard the next wedding hall. He sees a bride being taken away by Chamblemon. He and Gammamon give chase, but they are ultimately captured.
Hiro and Gammamon are thrown into the building housing Ruli and the brides. They, too, are so weak that it is difficult to move. The Chamblemon begin to pull off and eat mushrooms from Ruli's body. This is very painful!
When Angoramon and Espimon find Hiro's abandoned phone, they are led to the Chamblemon's hideout by Geremon. Ginryumon (evolved Ryudamon) arrives at the hideout as well, and he brought Kiyoshiro and Jellymon.
NOTE: I thought this episode was going to focus on Ruli, but it turns out to be more of a Kiyoshiro episode. Love it when he goes into brave mode.
