Episode 28: Applidrive DUO! Offmon Appears

Last week, Yuujin came to the rescue of the other Appli Drivers revealing that he, too, has an Appli Driver, however, his is different. This week we learn how Yuujin obtained his Appli Drive Duo.

At their library base, Yuujin explains what had happened; Traffic lights were changing on him as if he was being guided. He ended up at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Then a coupon suddenly arrived on his smart phone so he took advantage of it. The Appli Drive Duo came to him on a plate...no wasabi. Offmon appeared to Yuujin on a plate as well. Right after, he was guided to the 7 code band and then he went to Haru.

Yuujin continued to explain that Offmon is the Appmon of offline games. Those are games that can be played without being connected to the internet. Offmon likes being alone. The question comes up that Offmon is a standard digimon, but he was able to get rid of an Ultimate. How? Turns out that when any Appmon is appliarised with the Appli Drive Duo, their status is increased. It's because of the Insertion: Me part. The Appli Driver's power gets injected into the Appmon. When Astra says that Offmon's strength doesn't come from him solely, the little guy gets upset and runs away leaving behind broken doors that Ai must get repaired.

They find Offmon at the time a virus is infecting everyone's workout app. The culprit, Musclemon, a muscle training appmon. Offmon shuts down the app. Musclemon is not happy and leads the kids thru an AR Field. Offmon and the other Appmon are able to remove the virus from Musclemon and his chip goes to Yuujin.

On their way home, Haru asks Yuujin what his questions was that allowed him to pair with Offmon. It was, "Is there a friend that you would give up your life to protect?" At the time Yuujin was worried about Haru, and he immediately answered "Yes."

A short time later, Yuujin arrives home. It appears that he walked through a scanner and his mother is using a tablet. He asks what is for dinner, and she replies, pasta. He says that he was just thinking of that. "I know everything you are thinking, Yuujin," she says.

What? What was that field he walked through, and what is it doing to him? It appears that he is being controlled, but why? So many unanswered questions? Keep watching!!
